Okay, have always been this way

My whole life is game theory. I end up figuring out the rules and the winning strategy and then I put just the right effort needed to "win", unless I just adore the subject cuz once I focus, OMG, it is laser focus and intense and deep. That's the way I've always been.

Which basically is the description of a high functioning woman with ADHD and why I tend to violate expectations of women, be out of box, innovate, strategize, rather than be linear in ticking off boxes in the right order and staying within boxes others draw. Nope. Not me.

Also instead of studying for #Financial #Accounting, (even though I realize I never turned in homework 3 despite having negotiated an extension on it...eeks..so now I have less margin on exam despite pass/fail)..I was doing my #COVID19 #publichealth #education video for @ISNAHQ

@QaaliHussein1 - do you approve of this video? I put a clip of it in my larger presentation as an example of expanding access to communities typically marginalized. In fact, recently @bfrist posted on language barriers as a critical issue in #healthcare

Also found this from Australia that is in my presentation on #COVID19 #pandemic for preventing spread of #coronavirus - I would have used a video from my med school @AKUGlobal but I was in a rush and this seemed like one stop shopping for a lot of info

Okay...studying. Like cramming. Like finding the answers as it is open book and at least get partial credit? I kinda was hoping to get the concepts and then hire someone to do the actual details....(with enough understanding of how it is done to do good oversight of the details)

Cuz goal of the #MBA is to encase... the bleeding heart empath do gooder #pediatrician #publichealth type who is expected to self sacrifice... in hard nosed businesswoman exterior where I secure resources needed to #getthingsdone

To fix pay gap or disparities needs 💰💰💰

That means you need a business case & a budget to support, drive, deliver outcomes
= Financial Accounting

& How I see the @McKinsey method to get often opposed stakeholders to problem-solve together:

My time in c-suite have changed me. Am deliberately open on not being perfect, negotiating the rules rather than following them perfectly, being messy. As @choo_ek describes, not all are allowed same leeway
I do deliver results in my imperfect way

So let's be results-oriented. If I get things done faster, better, more creatively than others and with fewer resources as well as if my 360 eval gives me 7/7 for integrity, acting per my espoused values, and being reliable

then let other WOC do things their own way too
