1.After gifting some @VolatilityArt NFTs, I began selling VLY tokens last week, starting at 0.21 ETH. Why so low? This project is an artwork centered on value and volatility. The artist applies their own values as a measure of value. Price becomes a medium of artistic expression.

2. Bitcoin required a market to be built from zero. So did #cryptoart and #nfts. I began with gifts, then asked some collectors who already participated in building my NFT market to come join this project & do the same. This mirrors #BTC & cryptoart market building.🧡📈

3. I value my early collectors who also reached out with relational human interactions. I value art collectors who care to learn about an artist, their work, and collect because Art. I value #connection, not just transaction. So let's apply #values to an artwork about value.🤝

4. I value #Bitcoin's supply cap of 21M. And I value crypto correlation. So we #begin at 0.21ETH, incrementing 0.21ETH each VLY. It will look like a straight line in one currency, but volatile parabolic curves when compared to others. It's all a matter of perspective & time. ⏳

5. Speaking of perspective, have you visited my latest installation in @cryptovoxels? It might help with understanding how Right Place & Right Time's layers create abstract compositions based on volatility.👀🧠cryptovoxels.com/play?coords=E@…

Thanks @bnolan, for the alpha fix last year!

6. These first collectors were selected the night of Sept 18th, when Right Place & Right Time became the first #NFT artwork to sell for 100K+ to a single collector. These collectors came before that big sale. They valued my art. And communicated. These are the Neo-Collectors.

7. I see Neo-Collectors as a new breed of art collector emerging from #cryptoart. They understood the value of NFTs. And they demonstrated that they value that NFTs can change how artists and collectors relate. Directly. Peer to peer. Heart to heart. ♥️🤝♥️ We're just beginning..

8. @blackboxdotart collected January 2, 2021. A gorgeous abstraction to compliment her 1st NFT of mine, collected in Sept, 2019 for 0.25 ETH. A pleasure to demonstrate how much I value Sparrow by starting at 0.21 ETH, below my previous bottom which she previously set LONG AGO!😁

9. @superrareroses collected October 4, 2020. I searched through 5000 generated volatility images between Sept 2020 & the present to find one that reminded me most of a rose. 🙏🌹♥️

10. @coldie collected January 10, 2021. I wanted Coldie to have the first crash of 2021 - a rare distinction. I still remember when Coldie first DM'd me after collecting an NFT in December 2019. He asked great questions & was curious. He really cares about the art he collects. 🙏

11. @superrareperkins collected February 4, 2021. The dramatic change in size of that green ring shows some end-of-day volatility. But the B is so clear. Just felt right for one of the co-founders of @SuperRare to collect! 🙏Thanks Jon

12. @bigcomicart cares for many of the same things in #cryptoart that I do. He gets it. So he gets a very clear, low volatility artwork. Also, he was my first collector of 2020, so I felt that it would be good synergy for him to have the first day of 2021. HODL well, friend! 🌐

13. @moderatsart got a great big green halo! Until now, a collector of only 1 of my NFTs, @moderatsart stands shoulder to shoulder with the collectors who were most instrumental in the growth of the #cryptoart market, supporting many artists at all points in their careers.

14. @j1mmyeth collected December 25, 2020. This day has just enough subtle motion blur to let us imagine it might have been run through @photomosh.😉 Thanks for building in this space, Jim!

15. @web3brett has collected October 14, 2020. This day really stood out for me as being especially abstract and unique against the others. Something told me this might appeal to Brett's values. 😎

16. For @TennesseeJed3, I selected November 6, 2020 for him to collect - a day so beautiful I'd want to keep for myself. We've had many great conversations about art in the last months - I thought this would challenge a collector of the symmetrical. 😏

17. And last, @colbornbell of @MuseumofCrypto collected September 29, 2020. Imagining its exhibition in VR one day, this is a day with a rare magenta halo circling the composition. ⭕️

18. These VLY NFTs belong to the "Neo-Collector" Series and were personalized with metadata attributes indicating they were all collectors of mine previous to Sept 18, 2020 and also relational. A few have added attributes. I value adding something #personal to the #provenance.

19. @VolatilityArt will mint 210 VLY NFTs over next 10 years, mirroring #BTC in many ways. Each VLY token is a portrait in the day of BTC's volatility of value. The project will become a portrait of the artist's values and how they change in the next decade. How we all change...
