Update 9/28: Feeling bewildered-I cannot understand why we are still dealing with #COVID. We know what will stop the spread and preventable deaths. Please do your part.

Get Vaccinated
Wear a mask
Stay home when sick
Improve ventilation

Consider COVID an open-book quiz.

Current hospitalizations (top, orange), ICU (red, middle) and new admissions (blue, bottom). Might be seeing the first signs of the hospitalizations coming down. Still so very high - please be kind to a healthcare worker today (or all the days). @utahhospitals

A very slow decline in positivity rate (one way to monitor community transmission). If these numbers stay steady, we should expect the number of cases (reported or not), hospitalizations, and deaths to also remain steady. #covidtest

If you look closely at the orange 1-14 year old line, it was rapidly increasing and is now trending down - quickly. There are two options: 1) we are masking more and taking precautions 2) parents aren't testing their kids when sick. @AndrewPaviaMD

Speaking of kids, #covid cases by day & cumulatively by year shows the lack of precautions (outside of SLC schools) has translated into 6x more sick kids, more missed days and more parents scrambling to balance remote work and kids at home. #utpol #MaskUporstayhome @SpencerJCox

I am encouraged to see that 73% of people 12+ have had at least 1 shot. Those that are choosing to deny this modern miracle are becoming the minority. If you haven't yet received a vaccine, please talk with your healthcare provider about your concerns. #getyourshot

Pretty soon, that red bar on the left will be colored with the beautiful green. I can think of at least 2 kids that will contribute. #vaccinated #GetVaccinatedASAP #VaccinesWork

#vaccineswork The rate of cases in the unvaccinated population is nearly 8x of the vaccinated population. Someone help me understand the hesitancy in getting vaccinated?
