"He's on his two week leave for the month." Another answered.
"Again? He needs to get his shit together before he falls apart."
Bakugo Katsuki, or ‘Lord Explosion DynaMight’ was the top hero of Japan.
That was if it wasn't for his dwindling rank and lack of appearances.
He as a Prime Alpha should be at the top, it was his spot and his duty as so.
But that was also his downfall.
He was an alpha.
A study done not too long ago had revealed that presented alpha's have a high sex drive, in turn their ruts become a necessity to care for.
If ruts weren't cared of, it could cause a health concern to Alpha’s, causing multiple health issues internally and externally for them.
And due to this concern, the government officiated a new programmed facility to asist.
It was called the ‘Alphan Rut Controlled Treatment’ program or 'ARCT’ centers.
These facilities were created to treat Alphas during their ruts.
The basis of it was omegas can be signed up to be the help' to the program with multiple benefits.
They would be categorized, tested and if accepted would be given shelter in one of said facilities.
Alphas can go into these facilities when it's either time of their ruts or ahead of time to be tested, categorized and input into their system.
They can also fill out desired traits on a partner like appearance, experience level, personality and pleasures.
Once finished, they will be matched to potential omegan partners, given multiple profiles to choose from.
Once selected, a date will be set for meeting. Depending on how long the ruts last they will stay with a matched partner until it ends.
Once finished, the Alpha can leave and based on their experience with their partner they can continue to meet with them for ruts or file for a new match and vice versa.
"Bakugo, I would like to have a moment to speak with you." A voice called out.
"What now Jeanist?” He asked.
"In my office please." The man said, walking as Bakugo hutted before following.
"What do ya want?" Bakugo asked, plopping down onto a chair.
"This is the fourth time you've been missing work. "Jeanist said
"Not my fault, you already know why." He said, crossing his arms.
“I'm aware, but you understand because of your absence you have dropped from your top rank." He said.
"Not possible." He answered.
"You're number two, behind Shoto Todoroki." He said, Bakugo standing up from the chair.
"What?! Are you fucking kidding me?" Bakugo asked.
"You'd wish I wasn't." He answered.
"Look, at his point if you want to continue to mishandle yourself not only will your rank falter but your health as well Katsuki." Jeanist warned as Bakugo sighed heavily.
"I picked up a few brochures for those ARCT facilities, I suggest you look them over." Jeanist said, handing a few to the blonde who snatched them.
"I've heard UA is highly rated and -"
"All right, all right. I'll look into it." He said, eyeing one of them.
He signed, heavily crumpling it in his grasp while his phone rang in his ear.
"Good evening, thank you for calling UA Omegan Center. Are you looking for an omega for the night?"
