Mueller's office says Paul Manafort is not confined to his cell all day while in jail awaiting trial. He has a private bath and work area. And he was recorded on a jail telephone saying he was being treated like a "VIP." 
Manafort also has a private phone and laptop in his jail unit.
And Mueller's office says Manafort has found a "workaround" to jail rules that prohibit sending or receiving emails.
The government knows about that because he's talked about it during phone calls, which are recorded.
Judge Ellis has ordered federal marshals to take Manafort out of his "VIP" suite and move him to a jail in Alexandria, Va. If that jail could safely house "foreign and domestic terrorists, spies and traitors," it can safely house Paul Manafort.
