🙌🙌🙌You know what's going to be sooooooooooo good?!?

🔪When Trump turns on Rudy Giuliani.

🔥Can't wait.

[With Rudy Giuliani, What You See is What You Get]

Giuliani has "tragically plummeted from greatness."

theatlantic.com/politics/archi…
📃Well, that was the narrative.

💥But the article points out that Rudy Giuliani was walking the streets on 9/11 because his Emergency Center—which he insisted on locating on the 23rd floor of 7 World Trade Center—in spite of advice from the Police Commissioner was gone.
🍸There are many people who don't believe in the story that Giuliani has recently had a "fall from grace." The article quotes legal analyst Jeffrey Toobin describing Giuliani with “naked aggression and a thirst for attention.” Aggression, meaning refusal to listen to subordinates
🦸‍♂️Posting this article for the picture. This is the image that most people had about Rudy Giuliani.

🇺🇸9/11: he stepped forward as a leader to the entire country.

mashable.com/2016/10/12/giu…
🦸‍He not only stepped up as a leader; he knew when to be serious; he knew when to give updates.

🌆Giuliani on Saturday Night Live: “NYorkers are unified. We will not yield to terrorism. We will not let our decisions be made out of fear. We choose to live our lives in freedom."
🎼After Paul Simon's performance, Lorne Michaels came on stage.

🤡"Can we be funny?" he deadpanned.

🎯"Why start now?" Giuliani answered.

🇺🇸This arguably started the healing phase for the entire country.
🧚‍♂️But the Atlantic article points out that the nonpartisan 9/11 Commission "later examined Giuliani’s track record and found it less than mythical," citing the destruction of the Emergency headquarters and the lack of communication between the Fire & Police Departments.
Then there is a book. It's called "Grand Illusion: The Untold Story of Rudy Giuliani and 9/11."

Authors/journalists Wayne Barrett and Dan Collins interviewed John Farmer, the 9/11 Commission’s senior counsel, and "punctured" the image of America’s mayor.
smile.amazon.com/Grand-Illusion…
🚨Farmer is quoted, “I really think it would have made a difference. Maybe the failure to communicate among the agencies doesn’t happen that day because that thing is functioning. That’s the point of it…I think the number of responder deaths could have been greatly reduced.”
⚡️“It was at once the dumbest decision he ever made & the one that made him a legend. If the center had been elsewhere, all the dramatic visuals that had turned Giuliani into a nomad warrior would instead have been tense but tame footage from its barren press conference room.”
💣After the 1993 bombing in the World Trade Center parking garage, there was plenty of time to solve the communication problem between the Fire & Police Departments.

🚨A committee was formed. It concluded they should use the same emergency frequency & practice together.
⚡️But under Rudy Giuliani, the committee was disbanded in 1994. So no practice.

👨‍🚒👮‍♂️The 9/11 Commission conclusion: “Any attempt to establish a unified command on 9/11 would have been frustrated by the lack of communication and coordination among responding agencies.”
🍸And Morning Joe host Joe Scarborough revealed in May why Giuliani didn't get a cabinet position: “I can mention this: Everybody around Donald Trump said he was drinking too much—Donald Trump suggested as much—that was two years ago."

Then there's also the failed 2008 run for president. The strategy to virtually ignore primaries in #Iowa, #NewHampshire, #Michigan—& #Nevada & #SouthCarolina caucuses—& concentrate on #Florida: "one of the biggest miscalculations in US campaign history."

theguardian.com/world/2008/jan…
🥉He came in third in the #Florida primary and the next day announced he was withdrawing from the race and supported Senator John McCain.

🛣️Mike Lupica called it "the end of the road for Rudy Giuliani and one of the worst campaigns ever."

nydailynews.com/news/politics/…
🤯Then there was also the time in 2016 when Giuliani appeared on the ABC's "This Week" with an unexplained giant bump on his head.

🚿Later, he explained that he was taking a shower with a "cramp on my leg" and hit his head on the glass door.

nydailynews.com/news/politics/…
💑And the obvious scandal created when after being spotted around town with his soon-to-be third wife, Giuliani announced his his separation from his second wife at a press conference—without informing her first.

newyorker.com/magazine/2018/…
📺New York Journalist Donna Hanover was not amused and got a temporary restraining order—barring the Mayor from Gracie Mansion.

⚡️Then there's the not so obvious scandal. His first marriage was to his second cousin!!

💔It was annulled.

thecut.com/2018/04/rudy-g…
💔Now a third divorce.

🏛️Remember this? Giuliani ran for U.S. Senate for a while against Hillary Clinton in 2000, then when "reports showed Clinton gaining upstate and generally outworking Giuliani," he dropped out.

en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rudy_Giul…
💥During one 4-week period, his affair with soon-to-be third wife Judith Nathan became very public; he announced he had prostate cancer and needed treatment; he announced his separation from Donna Hanover at that press conference; he dropped out.

📺📻🗞️Media free-for-all!
💥If this CBS report represents how Giuliani was campaigning in 2008, it's not as surprising he was forced to quit.

💬Giuliani was telling stories "with a bemused smile & a NY twinkle in his eye, almost like Sinatra ribbing Dean Martin at a cabaret."

tinyurl.com/yd7bx95u
💣If the beginning of Trump & Giuliani's friendship is an indicator, the end (and there will be an end) should be explosive.

🔪Trump befriended Giuliani and supported his candidacy just to get back at Mayor Ed Koch after feuding over Wollman skating rink.

Maybe the myth of Rudy Giuliani as "America's Mayor" was a "Grand Illusion" afterall.

🔗Link to Rudy Giuliani's Saturday Night Live appearance after 9/11.

😱Oh no, watch out Rudy!

😘💀This could be the "kiss of death" from The Donald!
😨What, he's not doing a good job now? Yikes!

I've been screaming about this since 2018. Canada 🇨🇦developed the “Learn to Discern” program which taught 15,000 Ukrainians 🇺🇦 how to detect and decode misinformation and propaganda.

If the Ukrainians did not have this training, they might be begging Putin to annex them.
Finland 🇫🇮, the Netherlands 🇳🇱, Poland 🇵🇱 & other European countries are also took measures to educate the public on Russian propaganda and cyber attacks. We continue to do nothing. #RussiaReport Image
⁉️ Why in God's name haven't we done this in the U.S. the #propaganda and #disinformation is OUT OF CONTROL here! It is the biggest problem globally, without question.

Fox News, OAN, Newsmax, etc...all need to be regulated somehow.

This “Russian Olympic Committee” deal is complete BS. The Russians are supposed to be banned for 4 years, starting in 2019, for blatant, systematic cheating. And then Putin lied about it. This is what happens when you make deals with criminals.

🏆 Watch ICARUS, the Oscar winning documentary. @IcarusNetflix, directed by @bryanfogel
⚰️ Putin also arranged to kill people involved to squash evidence. Allegedly.

After cheating, killing and lying, they let his country back in to compete.

Don Cornelius—who died in 2012—is credibly accused of brutalizing 2 women who worked for Playboy, tying them up & raping them, locking them in closet. For 3 days.

Story from their “bunny mother,” who was part of the “clean up crew.”

#SecretsofPlayboyAE

yahoo.com/entertainment/…
I left out the worst part.
The next day, Cornelius was let back into the Playboy Club like nothing happened.

If not for the “clean up crew,” he would have been locked up for a long time.

Hugh Hefner knew.

🔥 This story did not get enough attention. Basically, Pence was afraid of being kidnapped by the Secret Service (presumably directed by Trump) so that the certification could not be completed. That’s nuts!!

Here’s the passage from “I Alone Can Fix It.” Tim Giebels is Pence’s lead security agent. Pence doesn’t trust the person driving the car.

⚾️ When people complained about long baseball games, the Major League Baseball responded with new rules such as limiting visits to the mound, timing pitching changes, etc.

What in God’s name have we done to speed up the judicial system and the people who use it to delay reality?
Steve Bannon? He’s entitled to “due process,” but let’s face it, he did it.

He was issued a subpoena and he violated it.

There is no reason this should go on for a year.
People caught on videotape committing a crime? Seems like those cases could be expedited.

📰 Julie K. Brown’s series on the survivors of Jeffrey Epstein’s crimes was entered in 2 categories for the Pulitzer Prize: investigative reporting and local reporting.

It didn’t even make the finals in either category despite arguably being the reason for Epstein’s arrest.j
After Epstein served his time in a private wing of the Palm Beach County Stockade, most of the press coverage consisted of tabloid-type pictures of him and girls who looked underage.

Until the @MiamiHerald and @jkbjournalist came around.

miamiherald.com/topics/jeffrey…
It was alleged in Virginia Giuffre’s lawsuit that Epstein instructed her to have sex with Dershowitz.

Dershowitz strongly denied the allegations. He also attacked Brown & @MiamiHerald although Brown said in her book, “In hindsight, I wish I had included more about Dershowitz.”
