I was in my teens and I BEGGED for a Ouija board. Me and the bestie decided to try it out. We were skeptical so we asked a few test questions...

Everything seemed legit. Authenticity was confirmed. Forgot a detail...we decided to carry this out in a dark bathroom with candles lit

Sidenote-We only chat a few times a month. Why did she JUSt text me out of nowhere while I'm writing this??

My Twitter app froze on me. If some more shit happens, I'm taking it as a sign and will not post the rest. Although I actually believe that the spirit was good.

N-E-WAAAYYYY...My bestie decided to ask the board about this dude she was crushing on (she KEPT a crush!) Lol.
She wanted to know if he was going to be at a basement party that we were going to sneak to.

So we were like "will dude be at the party?"
OB: Yes!

We got giddy! (Because her crushes were my crushes via proxy)

...but then OB started moving on its own.
I mean, our hands were still on it but we hadn't asked a question. I can't remember when 100% certainty, the next few pieces, but what I DO recall is that OB took a long time and said...

...Dude will die!

We were spooked the fuq out!!! Somehow or another, we asked more questions and OB said he was going to get shot at the basement party.

We were like "oh shit! We gotta warn dude!"

So we called the "party host"--who was my LEGIT crush 😍
We were like "we need dude's number NOW!!!"

I think he asked us a bunch of questions. Ultimately, we were like "HE'S IN DANGER!!!"

Now would be a good time to provide a bit more context. My neighborhood was a well known gang neighborhood and these dudes were members of said gang. The fact that I wrote "said gang", let's you know where we stood on the "cool" scale.

We weren't the nerdiest of nerds but THEY viewed us as such. But overall, we were pretty cool. Cool enough to get invited to the party. Like a B-

So when we told crush dude that he was in danger, his reply was "y'all weird"

So we call besty's crush and we're like "DON'T GO TO THE PARTY!!!!"

To which, he replied "who dafuq is dis?" (because he was a gangster)

And then he asked "why". So guess what OUR dumb, damn-near not even cool enough to be talking to him, asses said???

"Because the Ouija Board said something is going to happen to you!"

Gangster crush was like "Imma fuck yall up!!!

We were perplexed. We'd just saved gangster crush's life!

Quite naturally, we didn't attend the party either. But the next day as we were walking to the store, we were confronted by one of the low level Gs who informed us that he was sent to "whoop (our) asses" because we some "voodoo bitches" who "put a curse on" besty's crush.

And a fight actually ensued.

Scared to go outside, we eventually snuck over to the crush's block and found him. We pleaded with him to call off the goons. He actually really DID like us, so once he realized it was us-US, he felt a little better. But he told us he was shook because...

That night that we called him, all of his lights shut off as soon as he answered the phone.

Anyway, life went on and we were really cool with besty's crush.

Years passed, addresses changed, and we fell out of direct contact with the Gs.

5-6 years later, an old friend informed me that besty's crush had died.

Guess how he died...

He was shot....at a basement party 😯

I left out one detail. The Ouija Board said he was going to be shot and killed by a friend.

So, when the old friend told me of his fate, she also mentioned that they thought it was one of the Gs!

It actually took me months to realize that what had happened in real life was what the OB said would happen. I guess we assumed they meant the party the next day; not the party 5-6yrs later.
