This year, there are five amazing ways that you, reading this right now, can affect the election OTHER than donating (which is also vital). Commence mini-thread...
1. Recruit your friends who don’t always vote to be your “+1.” How to figure out if they don’t always vote? Voting records (whether you vote, not who you vote for) are public, so there’s an app for that! Install Outvote here: rvdr.me/OV1

2. Text lots of other potential voters!

MoveOn has built a tool called Spoke that lets you text key potential voters with just a click on your trackpad, with tons of help to answer their questions. It’s addictive & hyper-powerful. Join the text team: moveon.org/text
3. Knock on doors!

Still essential after all these years. You can join MoveOn members in your area to canvass in “waves” at moveon.org/waves every weekend, or check events.mobilizeanerica.io for other ways to canvass near you. I’m about to go canvassing myself!
4. Write postcards to voters!

Personal, handwritten postcards are amazingly effective at mobilizing voters. Which is why 20,000 volunteers have already sent 3 million of them. Time for MORE! Find events near you here:

postcardstovoters.org
For example—if you’re in, say, Madison, Wisconsin, there’s a postcard-writing party hosted by @IndivisMadison tonight from 6-8pm at Cargo Coffee on E Wash. Just show up!

5. Call voters on the phone... with the ultra-powerful “hubdialer” tool!

Forget calling number after number where nobody picks up. New tools help you reach one potential Democratic voter after another, from home! @DFAaction has shifts listed right here:

So: friends, texts, doors, postcards, calls. Five killer ways for you to double or triple or quintuple your impact, alone from home or in groups on the streets. All of these techniques target people who might not vote, but if they do vote, will vote Dem. Time for turnout!
Everything that makes you anguished, sorrowful, fearful, furious—channel all of that into resolve to turn out voters for this election. It couldn’t be more vital. And you’ve never had better tools to make a difference. Nine days left. Let’s do this.
