sorry I was on a plane, but now that I've landed please allow me to say, once again: my name is Paul Manafort and I fucking love crimes
honestly proud of our boy paul for saying to hell with the consequences and doing what he loves (he loves crimes)
dance like nobody's watching, love like you've never been hurt, and do crimes like there's absolutely no way your guy will ever win the presidency because come on who are we kidding
we joke but Paul is walking into a meeting with his lawyer right now carrying two giant burlap sacks marked with money symbols and refusing to open them but swearing they're just full of laundry

Manafort flipped. This is the "statement of the offenses" in which Manafort confesses to doing the crimes...

This first count #Manafort admits to is violation of 18 USC § 371, "Conspiracy Against the United States."

What does that mean? He conspired to commit a crime against the US or to defraud the US:
A conspiracy, definitionally, requires more than one conspirator. Who did Manafort conspire with? The first paragraph dealing with Count 1 names Richard Gates and Konstantin Kilimnik "and others"

It will be after the next trials conclusion and after the midterms (if trial is quick)
Given yes, @PaulManafort is a sleaze bag and committed some offenses. Had he been charged when this first came about he might have be wrapping up his lengthy prison sentence right about now. But that didn’t happen, did it?

This trial was politically motivated 💯
Manafort was charged with these crimes,
previously examined and passed on,
to put on pressure to “flip on Trump” and confess all the Russian sins of the campaign.

Of course, that had to of occurred for the ‘flip’ to be feasible absent false testimony...

He wakes up once again to an empty room. He looks for his phone which he finds at the dresser with his car key. His shoes neatly arranged next to the closet and curtains drawn.

He checks the bathroom but there is no sign of the younger.

Failing to have his call picked up,
he sends a text and starts to feel anxious.

Did Kyungsoo run away?

He opens the closet and finds their bags with their wallets inside. It means the other only has his phone with him.

And he's not answering any calls and texts.

He's seriously getting worried.
If before, he could contact his cousin and ask of his whereabouts, right now he doesn't have anyone to turn to.

Just then the door opens, revealing a drenched Kyungsoo. The younger just stands there, at the doorway with a bashful smile.

"What happened to you? Why are you wet?"

I feel like driving up some controversy, so how about a thread of Hot Takes/Unpopular Opinions! You know the drill, one like = one take/opinion.

Start easy: the blunt awkwardness/cringe of 'Blurryface' is the point of taking the piss out of Tyler. I stand by my light 9/10.
2. I don't hate Nickelback's 'Dark Horse' - it's easily a record for them at their most tasteless, but the frat-bro swagger of it helps some of their better hooks.
3. 'Fireflies' by Owl City is a genuinely terrific song that captures precocious, starry-eyed wonderment better than few others in the 2000s.

It is SPECTACULARLY lame, but that's why it works.
