Once again the media is missing the forest for the trees when it comes to Nancy Pelosi's now-cancelled trip. There is plenty of absurdity to go around.

But here's the key question:
During this government shutdown, WHO WAS DRIVING NANCY PELOSI'S BUS?
Absurd answer 1: Its The Who's proverbial "Magic Bus"

When Trump stopped the "Magic Bus," Nancy responded:
I don't care how much (the taxpayers) pay
I want it, I want it, I want it
Absurd answer 2: Its an enchanted bus once owned by the Weasleys

However, this bus was not modified with the "invisibility booster," so Trump was able to stop it before it got stuck in a whomping willow, saving the CODEL.

Good brief account of what went down in Charlottesville tonight. Not all that much, frankly. But 700 cops -- many in riot gear -- armored police vehicles, & a helicopter overhead made things much more tense than they needed to be.
I'm thinking about the 700 out-of-town riot cops currently in Charlottesville.
And about the old saying...
To a man with a hammer, everything looks like a nail.
So, yes. This level of policing is far more likely to cause trouble than to prevent it. It's infuriating.
