These are pertinent questions which must be answered. Perhaps it is time for the Home Affairs Committee to revisit this issue. Someone has to.
As I have been saying, and nobody has given me a single satisfactory response - because the points are unanswerable.

People are happy to argue endlessly about particular incidents, whether the media or particular tweeters are biased - but these are the real issues
And within that is the answer to the bigger, more frightening question for the party: has it become institutionally antisemitic?

If it has failed for 2.5 years to implement its own inquiry’s recommedations, failed to fix its broken disciplinary system... it doesn’t look good

The appeal was unsuccessful - so the Supreme Court decided (by 5-2 majority) that the miscarriage of justice compensation scheme was compatible with Article 6 of the European Convention on Human Rights.

The maddening awfulness:
- @lucianaberger has 2 criminal convictions of men who abused *her* leftsplained *to her*
- See also her police escorts at the Labour Party conference where she was and still is regularly accused of lying.

@lucianaberger Of all the issues around Labour antisemitism, the treatment of Luciana Berger MP has been the most extraordinary and depressing.

It displays all the worst features of the movement around Corbyn, and his own studied indifference and lack of empathy. See
@lucianaberger ... When I reflect on this particular nastiness, I wonder what can make people feel it is OK - not just OK but right - to focus vitriol on someone like Luciana, a good MP who campaigns on important issues such as mental health.

Not many individuals submitted written evidence to the Home Affairs Committee inquiry into antisemitism.
One person was Patrick Darnes, member of:
Congleton CLP
Palestine Solidarity Campaign (PSC)

There is little or no firm evidence of an increase in anti-Semitism.
There is however evidence of an organised campaign to place in the minds of the mass media... that anti–Semitism is rife within the Labour Party. This Home affairs com. enquiry is therefore part of this campaign

Very difficult grilling for immigration minister Caroline Nokes at home affairs committee. She seems unable to answer very basic questions on how immigration system for new EU nationals will apply if there's no deal. It will be "an enormous challenge, she admits.
In brief: Nokes says EU nationals will have to go through a settled status system to be able to work if there's a no deal. But employers will be completely unable to tell if someone has done that. Nor will anyone else, eg landlords.

This looks like a huge mess brewing.
Oddly enough, the MPs on the committee don't seem that reassured when Nokes says the trials of the settled status scheme have gone well, given these involved 600 people, and there will be about 3 million to process by March.

At the same time as the Chakrabarti inquiry was ongoing, the Home Affairs Committee also held their own, real inquiry into antisemitism. One of the many people (& groups) interviewed was Mr Corbyn. This (long) thread will examine his testimony.

Here's a list of the committee, Naz Shah took no place on this committee due to her suspension. It's chair was Keith Vaz.
Keith lays the praise on a bit thick to start.
While Mr Corbyn confirms that cases of antisemitism have been brought to his attention (he doesn't appear to have taken much interest, more on that later) since he became leader.

I'm listening to some pretty shocking evidence on immigration detention centres at the Commons Home Affairs Committee.

Inspectors have told MPs they are still waiting for detention centres to draw up improvement plans going as far back as December 2016.
3/
 At one centre, inspectors found 23 detainees who'd been there at least a year. Hindpal Singh Bhui, Inspection Team Leader, says the uncertainty leaves people in a “deep level of emotional distress” and deaths in detention including self-inflicted “have risen very markedly”.
