-We have had two opportunities for universal healthcare and voters said no both times

-Jimmy Carter wanted to legalize marijuana but voters rejected that

-We have had many opportunities to be the green super power of the 20th and 21st-century ... voters rejected that

-We have had opportunities to end mass incarceration, hell, we had had opportunities to prevent that from ever happening, but voters rejected it

-We could've stopped the opioid epidemic before it ever got started but voters rejected that also

-We have had opportunities to end wage inequity and poverty but voters said, no

-We have had opportunities to end malnutrition
- We have had opportunities to end gun violence human trafficking and the rape epidemic ...

We are a self-governing nation

Voters say no to the democratic platform and then blame the Democrats for not implementing the platform

You can take a prize boxer, someone who has never lost a fight. Tie their hands behind their back and blindfold them before they go into the ring.
Do you then blame them when they lose? Voters in the United States do just that

Millions refuse to vote for Democrats. Then blame Democrats for not getting things done

Voters fail to guarantee Democrats are the majority in Congress. Then blame Democrats for not having the power they need to stop the conservatives

Think about the great society. When we had a Democratic House Senate and executive branch. Think about everything we achieved in terms of civil rights, gender rights, environmental protections ...

Of course now, even if we were to obtain a Democratic House Senate and executive branch, voters have chosen to handover the judicial branch to the conservatives, so there will be obstacles between where we are and where we could be for decades to come

We are a self-governing nation

This isn't rocket science

Voters are like the kid who refuses to do homework and then blames the teacher for the low grade on the test

Voters are like the idiot who sticks their hand on a candle and then wants to sue the maker of fire because they have a second-degree burn

Voters are like the person who can't be bothered to put gas in the tank and then blames the car manufacture when they're stranded by the side of the road

We are a self-governing nation

This isn't rocket science

Right now the Democratic Party is the Liberal party and if that matters to you ... you need to vote and you need to vote Democratic

If you don't choose to do these things you don't get to complain that the Democrats are destroying the country (or aren’t doing enough to save it)
