Semua ibu hamil perlu diberitahu bagaimana nak kurangkan risiko untuk mendapat jangkitan Listeriosis ketika mengandung.

Bagaimana?

1) minum hanya susu yang dipasteur atau Susu UHT. Susu fresh diperah dari tetek kambing ke lembu ke rusa ke buaya ke tak digalakkan minum.
2) tak digalakkan makan soft cheese seperti Camembert, Brie, Blue-veined cheese. Takda risiko listeriosis dengan memakan hard cheese seperti Cheddar, cottage cheese atau cheese yg sudah diproses. Baca bebetul. SOFT cheese jer takboleh makan.
3) tidak memakan pate ( sebarang jenis termasuk yg ada sayur ) - sejenis daging mentah

4) tak memakan makanan yang separuh masak, atau memanaskan semula makanan yg lama
Untuk mengurangkan risiko dapat jangkitan Salmonella pula :

1) elakkan makan telur mentah, telur separuh masak atau apa apa makanan yang mengandungi telur mentah atau telur separuh masak

2) elakkan daging mentah, atau daging separa masak.
Takda istilah mengidam makanan-makanan yg saya cakap kat atas ni. Lepas beranak boleh la makan kalau nak.
