Started Romans today in my morning Bible reading & my brain was exploding by V.6.
“the Son of God in power,”
“the Spirit of holiness,”
“Jesus Christ our Lord,”
“the obedience of faith.”
Good grief. In awe of it. Of Him. Just want to say this AM, plead even, read your Bibles.

Don’t leave it just to the Bible scholars, academics, pastors, teachers & ministers. So much was endured so people like you and I could read it for ourselves in our own languages. Just pick a book of the Bible and start reading a chapter a day. When you finish, start another.
The impact on your life will be inestimable. Your faith will be built up, your prayers will reshape & start coming into closer alignment with the will of God which means profoundly increased effectiveness in prayer. You will be equipped for every good work. And most importantly…
You will increasingly be able to say with equal conviction the words of the apostle Paul in 2 Tim 1:12-> But I am not ashamed for I know the one whom I have believed & I am convinced that He is able to guard what has been entrusted to me.” This, brothers & sisters, is everything.
This is what carries me every day. When I have no idea what in the world is going on and why this or that was allowed to happen, my confidence rests right here: I know this Christ that I believe in. I do not always know what He is doing and where He is working but I know Him.
I know he is always & only good. I know that he cannot do wrong. I know that he is never mystified. I know he cannot cease to love & I know that his love has no bounds. I know he loves my lost loved ones more than I do. I know he is all powerful. I know he will right all wrongs.
