Narmada Valley project had a target of irrigating 1.79 million Ha through a 74,000-km canal network. However, 40 years after the tribunal award, only 36% of d network--27,189 km--has been constructed. Gujarat could only supply irrigation water to 628000 Ha i.e. half its target.😏
Imagine the state of affairs of data fudging, when #Gujarat Govt claims in state assembly,that #agri growth is 11%/annum in 2018, but #CAG puts d figure at 3.6%.
👉U can believe in whatsoever u like, but the truth remains d truth, no matter how sweet the lie may taste

The revisions of Narmada project’s command area are ad-hoc & not systematic. If there r #industries coming up near a town, the Govt will revise the command area, saying it is to bring drinking water to people, & these revisions r not disclosed to the #farmers.😏

Take it from me: you DON’T need a new number to consolidate the rest.
The idea that you need a #HudumaNamba to consolidate government services is a blatant technical lie.

Your ID number is already unique, and you cannot get anything else without it. If the government’s efforts were honest, they’d improve their current systems, not add a new one.
