Grail goes with "methylation" (i guess they mean DNA sequencing which, post a chemical step, also detects methylation status of the "C"s in a g c t) for liquid biopsy clinical studies. This is further evidence of the importance of Dennis Lo of CHUK in shaping Grail's direction

Methylation sequencing seems to cut down on the amount of sequencing and also gives infomation on the possible location of the tumor you find.
