'Why is eye contact so difficult?'

Because you either feel like you look ugly or you feel you are not worthy.

But it's mainly the latter.

You'll get better with practice.

Idk what you heard, but eye contact is a skill.

It can be learned.
Let me fix your paradigm.

I know why you struggle with eye contact.

'How do you know?'

Because I used to struggle with eye contact...
You struggle because someone's eyes brings AWARENESS to your whole body.

You feel like you are being watched.

And it pierces you.

Am I right?

'Omg...yes.'
When you feel like you are being watched, you feel self-conscious.

And when you make eye contact with the other person, you feel a strong tension within.
But your issue can be fixed.

'How?'

Thru practice.
You have a limiting belief right now.

You think eye contact is fixed.

But it isn't.

It is an invisible muscle.

If you struggle, then your muscle is weak.

What do you do when a muscle is weak?

'I work it out.'

Exactly
Gradual improvement is better than no improvement.

From here on out, hold eye contact for a little bit longer before you break.

Idc if it's only a second.

Hold it.

Got it?

'Ya.'

Great. Now go up to 2 seconds.

Then 3 seconds.

And so on...
Have a light squint.

You will think that you are looking like a buffoon.

But you aren't.

You are looking approachable.

You are looking very caring.

And it looks like you are intently listening.

Gazing >> Glaring
Over time, the muscle will strengthen.

You will feel a level of control from within.

Now when people look at you, you look back.

Not with hesitancy.

But with confidence.
Life Irony:

The more confident you become, the stronger your eye contact becomes.

The stronger your eye contact becomes, the more confident you become.
Over time, you will begin to notice something.

'What?'

You will be able to READ eyes.

You will be able to tell who has a strong eye contact muscle & who doesn't.
Give people with a strong eye contact muscle, strong eyes.

Give people with a weak eye contact muscle, a soft heart.

Rather than intently staring at them, do occasional breaks like them.

This is body mirroring: eye contact edition.

This will put them subconsciously at ease.
