Lt. Johnson giving an update now on the accident from last week. Here’s a look at one of the vehicles involved. 
Johnson says a Good Samaritan began helping the 13yo who was hit in the incident until EMS could arrive.
Johnson says the silver PT cruiser and another vehicle were involved in a road rage incident. He says it was that vehicle that went off the road and ended up hitting the 13yo victim.
Johnson says the driver of the PT Cruiser was traveling a 75mph before the collision. This is 30mph over the posted speed limit in the area of the accident.
Johnson says the driver of the PT Cruiser was driving aggressively and this resulted in injuries of the 13 yo. The driver is identified as Norman Earl Gardner jr.
The 13yo boy is identified as Welfred Hallens. His recovery time is estimated at one year. He’s recovering from multiple injuries and remains in the hospital.
