Here's a copy of my complaint to the State Bar of California against IRS Commissioner #CharlesRettig. It was a federal crime for Rettig to fail in his duty to produce Trump's tax returns when requested by the chair of the House Ways & Means Committee. scribd.com/document/40904…
26 U.S.C. § 6103(f)(1) unambiguously provides that “[u]pon written request from the chairman of the Committee on Ways and Means of the House of Representatives . . . the Secretary shall furnish such committee with any return or return information specified in such request.”
The Secretary of the Treasury has delegated his authority to respond to requests under § 6103(f)(1) to the Commissioner of the IRS in Treasury Department Order 150-10.
§ 7214(a) provides: “Any officer or employee of the U.S. acting in connection with any revenue law of the U.S— . . . who with intent to defeat the application of any provision of this title fails to perform any of the duties of his office . . . shall be fined ...imprisoned...”
