How can Lagos Ibadan Expressway be done in this manner?
You demolished Mowe, you didn't complete.
You demolished Ibafo, you didn't complete.
You demolished Berger/Kara, you didn't complete.
You now went to Magboro to demolish w/out completion.
Traffic everywhere.
I learnt Nigerians die on this road due to inability to meet up to rushing people on emergency.
Armed robbers attack Nigerians on d long bridge due to the traffic. .@tundefashola & .@MBuhari your help is needed to quickly complete this road. Do this for .@OfficialAPCNg to succeed
My colleagues live home by 4am daily to meet up and they get home by 1am the next day due to this style of road construction. It would have been ideal to finish a section before moving to the other one.
Not finishing a section of the road before moving to the other makes the contractor to be paying bribes to some people in the ministry thereby delaying the project. This in turn causes so much traffic and punishes honest Nigerians. .@tundefashola and .@FMWHNIG shd look into this.
We know that corruption cannot go easily but we should also monitor any project we embark on to avoid loopholes for contractors to exploit. Your names will be remembered for all that is happening. Let's remember it for quick completion.

Monday, 2nd Sept, 2019 to Thursday, 31st Oct, 2019.

Affected Routes
Lagos-Ibadan Expressway from Kara Bridge inward Berger and from Berger INW Kara Bridge.
Alternative Routes
Motorist traveling in/out of Lagos can make use of:
(i) Lagos-Abeokuta Expressway from/to Abeokuta connecting from/to Lagos-Ibadan Expressway.
(ii) Sagamu-Ikorodu Road from/to Sagamu connecting via Sagamu Interchange from/to Lagos-Ibadan Expressway.
(iii) IjebuOde-Itoikin Road from/to IjebuOde connecting from/to Lagos-Ibadan Expressway.

Motorists are advised to be patient and maintain Lane Discipline during this period.

Aba is the commercial hub of Nigeria's Southeast, with 2.4 million residents generating most of Abia state's $8.6 billion GDP. Port Harcourt is the capital of Rivers (GDP $21bn) with 1.8 million people. It is about 61km from Aba. Keep these stats in mind for the next tweet.
Kaduna City, capital of Kaduna state has 1.1 million people and a state GDP of $10.3 billion. Abuja is the FCT and it has 4.1 million residents. Both cities are about 189km apart.

Given rational resource allocation, which of these neighbours need a SG rail link first?
The passenger numbers between Aba and Port Harcourt are likely to be far in excess of Kaduna to Abuja, and the distance is also 3 times shorter.

As a government, which of these two links is more cost-effective and is less of an investment risk?

May 2017: @NGRPresident approved the handover of the International Airport Road, Lagos (Oshodi—MMIA) to @followlasg, for reconstruction.

Here’s the Road now, upgraded from a 4-lane to a 10-lane Highway. Work still ongoing. (I filmed this on Friday).
The new Oshodi Transport Interchange being built by @followlasg: 3 Bus Terminals; each one 30,000 square metres; all three connected by a Skywalk (straight ahead in the video)
