During the week, Fellows from our @IANPHIhealth/@CDCgov supported IMPACT course graduated and presented feedback from the 6-month programme.

The growth of public health leaders at NCDC and other organisations is inspiring

The "Improving Public Health Management for Action" course (IMPACT) had midlevel managers from NCDC attending. We also opened this to our close partners from the FCT Epidemiology Unit, @AfenetNigeria & @GU_CGHPI in Nigeria

This is part of our vision to build leadership skills

Over the months, I witnessed a remarkable change in work-ethics among several colleagues as the course progressed.

It is deeply inspiring to see colleagues grow on to take more responsibilities and show more leadership- the IMPACT course focused on these areas

Working with facilitators from @CDCgov and academia from Universities in Nigeria and other institutions, our Fellows identified projects, owned it and after 6 months, presented impressive deliverables that will contribute to the public health system

Supporting leadership and management training is not usually the first line of support we receive at @NCDCgov

This week, I am deeply grateful to @IANPHIhealth/@CDCgov and other organisations that have supported this area of our work

We’re building a world class science based institution with the capacity to protect the health of Nigerians at @NCDCgov

At the centre of this are PEOPLE whose dedication, hardwork and leadership will ensure we achieve this vision
