1. I’ve Been There” — A Misleading Claim
Murray dismisses critics by saying they “haven’t been to Gaza,” as if that disqualifies them from speaking.
But millions around the world have seen Gaza—through livestreams, footage, reporting, & testimony that have filled our screens daily for months.
His own visit was a guided military tour with the IDF—not independent, not journalistic, & far from exposure to civilian life under occupation.
This is not the same as “being there.” It’s controlled access through one lens.
