Long voter lines in the city; no lines in the burbs. GA legislators say there must be 1 voting booth per 250 voters in a precinct. So why does the State Election Board say its OK to shortchange some precincts? sos.ga.gov/admin/files/Pr…
Under this rule, Fulton may subtract every voting booth used for early voting (200+) from what any one precinct should have. 5000 voter precinct = 20 voting booths. And deploy just 1 voting booth. Its a minimum, so legal license to create lines in some neighborhood, not in others
Tell the State Election Board that long lines = voter suppression, and you oppose this rule. Comments are due by 1/13 - send to jshannon@sos.ga.gov. @DPGChair @fairfightaction @FriendsOfCGG @jennycohn1
