A few years ago, I was invited by the American Dental Association to speak on this topic. A few salient features of my talk follows. Please note not all may apply to India but at the end people are people everywhere!
The most common reason patients consider legal action against dentists are:
1) Negative comment made by one dentist about work done by another dentist.
2) Patient feeling neglected and unable to reach the dentist for post operative issues, during or after office hours.
3) Being chased for money owed for treatment that was unsatisfactory.

Points to learn:
1) Unless you were involved at every step pre, mid and post treatment refrain from passing negative judgement about other doctors. There is no way for anyone to know for sure what happened.

A #thread about the way you think about money and wealth
As a member of a family office association for the last 5 years, I get to spend a fair amount of time with ultra-wealthy people. Thankfully I was never raised to think of rich people as evil or mean nor did I feel entitled to their money.
A few years ago I attended the car show in Miami with my brother and we saw a really nice Nissan GTR. The owner was there and while other people fixated on how much it cost him or what mods he put on it, we asked him what he did for a living that allowed him to afford it.

The Nigerian police have come under a lot of scrutiny recently because of, frankly, very poor performance.
From issues that require policing escalating to points where full blown military intervention is needed, to plain incompetence on the parts of police officers, and cases where it is quite clear that the people do not trust those who are meant to protect them.

My date followed up by asking, “If your boyfriend asked you to cook for him, would you?” I grinned, as I realised my date was sadly playing from a script. I replied, “I don’t have a guy I like who’s asking me to cook, so I can’t say.”
I think my date thought I was being coy. But, I wasn’t. I was just being honest. A while ago, I decided to deal in reality and not hypotheticals. I have tried and failed to control life. All my effort got me was an anxiety problem and therapy.
