I believe in progressive causes, so Elizabeth Warren was one obvious choice.

I will vote tomorrow in the MI primary for the remaining obvious choice for progressives, who I hope will be the nominee and the next president: Bernie Sanders.

I urge the rest of you to do the same.
Not going to give all my reasons again but this premise isn’t clear to me at all.
I should probably add, it’s not that I haven’t heard the rationales.

It’s just that I don’t find them convincing. For most of them I find scant evidence, and of that, mostly flimsy

Don’t take it personal. After 2016 I don’t have a lot of confidence in my own speculation either

The point about turnout is a valid one but one that needs to be tempered with the reality of youth targeted suppression.

The safe moderate candidate spent primary day threatening to punch a Michigan voter I see.

Such a safe pick, how have I not thrown my support to him yet.
Oh wow you’re right I watched the whole thing and now I think that the candidate for president of the United States obviously had no choice but to offer to slap the man’s face, he’s clearly the safe decency respectability candidate we’ve been sold.
Pointing out that the guy was being an ass is an exercise in missing the point. If an NRA plant can get that kind of reaction out of Biden what is he going to do next time and next time and next time?

honestly it’s so frustrating, because he’s been doing this all along.

My primary isn’t for two weeks. If you’re doing any math around who gets whose Warren’s votes if she drops out before then:

I am a progressive Warren supporter. I decry racial, financial, gender, and social inequality.
I believe that big corporations have an obligation to “pay back” (by way of higher taxes) the rest of us that paved their way.

I believe that free markets result in a consolidation of power and wealth that benefits the already-rich and powerful…which harms of the rest of us.
I believe in civil liberty. The right to privacy. The right to be forgotten. The right to choose. The right to be seen & treated as an equal. The right to an education that improves one’s capacity to contribute to society. The right to not live in fear of guns every-damn-where.
