Who are trying to develop green economy that gives them dignified living without causing further damage to the climate. I hope you can go Africa and ask them what is the best way to mitigate and adapt to this crisis. I am sure they will tell u about smart agriculture and others
Like solar energy, Microgrids and adding value to their farm to produce to feed the world. As an African who suffers from climate change. I am ready and willing to work with u on this initiative if u r serious to make difference.

This is extremely misleading, fake news. Dr. Maadey was attending a peace conference organized by an international NGO called world peace foundation which is created the author and billioner Alex De waal as shown in this picture.

Dear #Somalia: let us deal with the root couse of this tragedy. This is unmitigated climate crisis that is a result of total lack of national leadership; we all know that climate change effects our country more than most but we have no ministry of environment to address it.
Instead of we have a lame positio. Callled “environmental coordinator” in the office of the @SomaliPM and guess who that person is? Our own DPM @KhadarGulaid who represents us at UN @theGCF but has not delivered any thing except request $3.9 million dollars for “readiness”
This fund @theGCF has $billions to mitigate such disasters and luckily managed by a Somali lady. Yet our incompetent @TheVillaSomalia can’t do any thing to prevent such disasters; we need @HarunMaruf to investigate this utter negligence and let the people know, who failed us.
