SPECIAL ANALYSIS: The #coronavirus quarantine is no radical departure for #Palestinians, who have lived in a state of ‘lockdown’ since the 1940s, though not at all voluntarily. In #Gaza, it's called a ‘siege’, also known as ‘blockade’.
By: @RamzyBaroud
Under this #lockdown, the Palestinian freedom of movement was curtailed to the extent that Palestinians required permits from the #Israelimilitary to leave the Occupied Territories or to return home, to move about from one town to the other.
By: @RamzyBaroud
In #Palestine, we don’t call our imprisonment a #lockdownextension, but a ‘military occupation’ and 'apartheid’.
As for ‘shelter-in-place’, in Palestine, we have a different name for it. We call it a 'military curfew’.

“People of Nuseirat, per orders of the #Israeli military you are now under curfew. Anyone who violates orders will be shot immediately,” the terrifying words communicated through a loudspeaker in Arabic, were a staple during the First Palestinian Uprising of 1987.

When Google and Amazon signed a $1.22 billion agreement with Israel to provide cloud services for the 21st Century colonialist project they probably didn’t think about its impact on talent acquisition. They should’ve thought harder. Image
.@jess_buxbaum’s latest investigation exposes how Project Nimbus – the $1.22 billion cloud services contract that Amazon and Google signed with Israel – is undermining hiring at the tech giants.

The West has recruited Facebook to help push its pro-NATO propaganda in the proxy war in Ukraine. @AlanRMacLeod’s latest investigation exposes how they did it.

Alan’s investigation leads to a fairly simple question: Why does Washington feel the need to take such strict control of what the public knows about their proxy war? Image
The West's censorship isn't protecting us from disinformation. They were happy to spread the lies of the Ukrainian Gov’t (Ghost of Kiev, Snake Island, etc…) until they were undeniably disproved.

This is all about making sure that we’re exposed to their disinformation. ImageImage

A @benandjerrys lawsuit will test the unconstitutional anti-BDS laws that AIPAC-aligned politicians have passed across the U.S.

The world-famous Vermont ice cream brand will sue their parent company Unilever for continuing a distribution contract with an Israeli-owned company in occupied Palestine.
Last year @benandjerrys promised to stop selling their products in the occupied territories in response to IOF assaults on Gaza and East Jerusalem.

Their move bolstered the stance of the BDS movement that the apartheid regime has spent millions to undermine.

As soon as Palestinian-American activist Alex Odeh was assassinated in 1985 law enforcement suspected three members of the Jewish Defense League.

None of them have been prosecuted 37 years later.

In part 1 of @davidsheen’s investigation he covered his interview with a new witness who can connect the FBI’s suspects to the assassination of Alex Odeh.

Part 2 of David Sheen’s investigation explores how and why, for years, the U.S. government has refused to act on the evidence it already has about the assassination of Alex Odeh.

The latest article from @KitKlarenberg exposes yet more connections between the intelligence community and Facebook.

Have you heard of Valent Projects? They’re another node building toward the intelligence community’s ultimate goal of completely dominating the flow of information to control what you can or can’t learn about. Image
Imagine a world where the most powerful people could control what you can know about the issues facing society. We’re more than half way there now but if the people exposed in @KitKlarenberg’s latest article get their way you could be totally barred from 'inconvenient' facts. Image
