Here's a thread of how I made 314k in 3 days despite the lockdown through ecommerce business without any ads.

In 2018, I shared a product idea with my students in the premium channel (a paid telegram channel for my students) we do share at least two hot products per month and the product was a particular pendant selling for about 50k in Nigeria because of the health benefits but we got

It for around 2k or so landing cost (cost of product, agent fee, shipping from China, everything) and some of us sold from 10, 20k or more but I know one that sold for 50k each. I personally didn't sell but used and gave my mum which she's still using til today.

What is this product? It's a quantum energy pendant (Google it and the works) so we imported and got a lot if money from it. But while selling that, I found another product that's similar so I decided to test it myself before going all out on it - a quantum shield for phones.

The quantum shield is an electromagnetic shield that reduces the effect of electromagnetic radiation from our phones. So I studied it a bit and decided to give it a try in December 2018. I imported just 20 packs to try and confirm authenticity and luckily it was fine

So I started thinking of how to sell it. Rekiya Yusuf, @rekiyayusuf is a friend and since she's a public figure especially on basket mouth's my flatemates, I decided to leverage on her network. We planned a date and when I was going, I went with about 2 packs if the shield

If she could get one more for basket mouth, I was so excited, I mean that was the goal, to give it publicity so I can sell. Rekiya has been a very good friend since we reconnected at redemption camp after we left the university, in 2017 when I launched the first online store

In Africa to accept Bitcoin as the ONLY means of payment - Shopnowng, Rekiya was present and even was our brand ambassador without collecting a kobo from me so I wasn't surprised she was doing that for me so we had a great evening and we left. T

The next day, Rekiya used it on her phone, snapped and posted on her IG then tagged me, boom! I got calls and was able to sell all I got for testing for 3,500 each. Landing cost then was ₦600 or so. This now proved to me I'll sell so imported good quantity over 300 packs

So the new ones came last year 2019 (I must admit I didn't push as expected) but I couldn't sell like I did the first set & doesn't make sense for me to go back to my friend to leverage on her brand again, it'll be me asking for too much so I kept it in my Lagos office 😀

Throughout 2019, I didn't sell up to 10 packs, the few times I try to sell, I discovered a lot of Nigerians don't take such things serious, we prefer cure than prevention so I left it in my office and started using it as souvenirs, whenever I have a guest, I give them a pack and

This continued until last month during my wedding, I was contemplating telling my staff to bring it to the reception so she share but I just left it and wedding passed, I left Nigeria and for what has now become honeymoon pro 😂 cos I can't return to Nigeria yet

So about 2 weeks ago, the news of 5G being associated with corona virus was everywhere, popular pastors shared their views and many conspiracy theories was gaining ground and immediately the entrepreneur in me started thinking, how can you take advantage of this moment 🤔🤔

Boom! I remember the anti radiation shield in my office. Since the shield is anti radiation and now more than ever before, people now know there's something called radiation and "killing" animals and even "caused" corona virus, there was no better time to sell anti radiation!

So I contacted my supplier for a video that demonstrates how the shield reduces the radiation to a significant number as seen in this video and tweeted here on twitter and also on my WhatsApp story.

Now, the selling price was ₦3,500 per one & I could have made more than 400k if I had sold for same amount but no, I decided to sell wholesale. I set MOQ of 10 packs at 2k per pack, so for 10 packs, you pay just 20k. Selling for 3,500 or more means you will make good ROI.

What value added service did I add? Once you pay for 10 packs, you get a free video like that I posted above with your name or logo and phone number so you can use it for your own advertisement. Now that's me saving them the stress of how to sell

So I posted some clips of pastor Chris talking about 5G, then posted a video of this radiation shield with few points and since nobody wants to die, there's nothing stopping people from buying this must have product. So let's do calculation how 314k came out in 3 days

Heres a screenshot of my customer service staff giving me report of 15 packs being sold. 2,000 x 15 = 300,000.
Then before I decided to sell wholesale, some individuals already paid for 4 packs. Remember a pack is 3,500. So 3,500 x 4 = 14,000 and viola, 314,000 😀

So we before have more orders than available goods, I had to tell my staff to stop taking orders.
Now let me tell you more about this product. Because 5G is not a topic that is going away soon, the rush for it will continue and will even be more expensive. How did I know?

I chatted my supplier to ask for more, and boom! Price has increased by almost 100%. Same product, same supplier but now price is different. What changed? I checked and the sale in the last 30 days is over 200,000 transactions, (not packs) so why is it suddenly selling? 🤔

It's because the news of 5G being responsible for corona virus spread in the last couple of weeks. Now even when #COVID19 is gone, we'll still be talking about the radiation from 5G as it's a technology no one will stop. Even 4G also has radiation but now the awareness is there
