According to the New York Times, at least through yesterday, there were 5 states that don’t have a stay at home order anywhere in the state.

For the first time, all of these states made the list of the top 10 states with the greatest increase in Coronavirus cases.
For the rolling period between 4/16/20-4/23/20, here are the states with the highest % growth in #Covid19 cases in that period:

1) Nebraska* (+117.83%)
2) Iowa* (+94.68%)
3) North Dakota* (+92.67%)
4) Ohio (+86.26%)
5) Rhode Island (+74.38%)
6) Kansas (+70.95%)
7) Virginia (+66.62%)
8) Arkansas* (+65.35%)
9) South Dakota* (+65.28%)
10) Delaware (+64.02%)

Now let’s look at these states with the highest % growth in Coronavirus cases over the last week and consider their population densities:

1) Nebraska* (24 people/sq mile)
2) Iowa* (55 people/sq mile)
3) North Dakota* (10 people/sq mile)
4) Ohio (284 people/sq mile)
5) Rhode Island (1,021 people/sq mile)
6) Kansas (36 people/sq mile)
7) Virginia (212 people/sq mile)
8) Arkansas* (57 people/sq mile)
9) South Dakota* (11 people/sq mile)
10) Delaware (485 people/sq mile)

* No stay at home order
8 of the 10 states that had the highest percentage growth in Coronavirus cases in the last week (all but Kansas and Virginia) falls into one of two categories:

a) Has no stay at home order anywhere in the state.
b) Is very densely populated (is among the 10 most crowded states).
