If the US did 100 million #COVID19 tests today, it would still not be the best country in the world for testing, as wrongly asserted every day by @POTUS. It will never be. It essentially didn't do any tests for 2 months after its 1st patient. Timing is everything.

(increase in slope or no descent) 1/2
In contrast, more than 20 countries have achieved flattening, horizontal case curves, a few at or nearing zero (add Hong Kong, a region)
i take strong issue with @NateSilver538's assertion below. The US is (more than) struggling and that IS attributable to our leadership. As is the case for only a few other major countries that got way behind their outbreaks w/ very high fatalities

See @Liv_Boeree's point below. She is correct about their false negative assertion. To be clear, the main problem with serology tests is their false positive rate, providing the person a false sense of "immunity"
