After the thread on interesting creatures and HP=Krishna, i am back with another lockdown story fr ur kids. Can we imagine a story where Harry Potter universe was influenced by Ramayana too? As i was reading i did find some authors had already worked on this –

but i have seen from my angle. I am also adding some scientific explanations and upakathas and interesting facts for the young inquisitive minds to show how beautiful and glorious our history is.

Good morning..
I was talking to a friend of mine who was sharing how her 12 yr old is hooked on to Harry Potter books and will not let it go. I asked whether she has given her child Ramayana and Indian books – n she replied that ‘My kid does not find it very interesting!’
I was shocked. Why are our kids not reading our books but are fixated with Western fantasy epics.
1. All have the central ‘Good vs Evil’ theme. Hero’s journey with challenges until he defeats the evil villian.
2. All are rich in characters..

Is it due to the fact that our books lack the mystical characters of Harry Potter that draws the kids to it? Maybe the characters in Ramayan and Hindu dharma have not been interpreted in vivid details to fascinate the youngsters.

ಅತಿಯಾದರೆ ಅಮೃತವೂ ವಿಷವೇ..
ಮಹಾಭಾರತದ ಕೊನೆಯಲ್ಲಿ, ತನ್ನ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಮಕ್ಕಳನ್ನು ಕಳೆದುಕೊಂಡ ದುಃಖ ಹಾಗೂ ಸಿಟ್ಟಲ್ಲಿದ್ದ ಗಾಂಧಾರಿಯ ಶ್ರೀಕೃಷ್ಣನನ್ನು ಕಾರಣಕರ್ತ ನಾಗಿಸಿ

ಕೃಷ್ಣನು ಅವಳನ್ನು ಅಪ್ಪಿ, ಸಾಂತ್ವನ ಮಾಡಿ, ಖುಷಿಯಿಂದ ಈ ಶಾಪವನ್ನು ಒಪ್ಪುತ್ತಾನೆ.
ಇದೇನು ಕೃಷ್ಣನಿಗೆ ತಿಳಿಯದೆ ಇದ್ದದ್ದಲ್ಲ. ಮಹಾಭಾರತದ ನಂತರ ತನ್ನ ಜನರು ಅಹಂಕಾರ ಭರಿತರಾಗಿ, ನೈತಿಕತೆ ಮರೆತು ದಾರಿ ತಪ್ಪಿ ಒಂದು Tipping point ಬಂದಾಗ- ಅವರೂ ಕೊನೆಗೊಳ್ಳುವುದು ಅವರ ಕರ್ಮ. ಇದನ್ನು ಅರಿತ ಕೃಷ್ಣ ಪರಮಾತ್ಮ ಸುಮ್ಮನೆ ಇರುತ್ತಾನೆ.
