#Breaking (also): amendment for the UAE's nightly curfew - now to take place 8pm to 6am, instead of 10pm to 6am.

This starts from Wednesday, until further notice.

Pharmacies, supermarkets etc exempt from timings, can continue to stay open 24 hours.

IMPORTANT points for #Eid in UAE:
- avoid family gatherings and coming together, use Zoom
- do not give 'Eid' money to children
- exercise near your house for 1-2 hours, maximum 3 people together
- Eid prayers to be done at home
- do not leave home unless buying essentials

IMPORTANT: Fines have been updated for violating #Covid19 rules in UAE

- failure to abide by quarantine rules: Dh50,000
- gyms, hotels, cinemas etc not abiding by measures: Dh50,000
- organising gatherings: Dh10,000 for organisers, Dh5000 for guests
- not wearing masks: Dh3000

#Covid19 updated fines continued:

- exceeding 3 people per car: Dh3,000
- not adhering to social distancing: Dh3,000
- leaving home during curfew: Dh3,000
- violating max occupancy in workplace: Dh3,000
- holding private classes: Dh30,000
- leaking patient health data: Dh20,000

The most pointed changes to #Covid19 fines to take note of tonight:
- Dh3000 for not wearing mask
- Dh10,000 for organising gatherings, Dh5,000 for attending

Authorities are not messing about. Plenty of mentions of "recklessness" and "irresponsibility" during tonight's briefing.

Most revised fines in UAE are increases:
- not wearing masks: from Dh1,000 to Dh3,000
- leaving home unnecessarily: Dh2,000 to Dh3,000
- having more than 3 people in your car: Dh1,000 to Dh3,000
- Dh10,000 for organising gatherings and Dh50,000 for ignoring quarantine unchanged
