1] As citizens wait patiently for the #HighCourt ruling on the matter regarding #MDC_T's parenthood of the #MDC_A, i fail to see how the judgement changes anything really.

This is because the #MDC_A is now a political party.
Something which a court can neither confirm nor deny.

2] The crux of this matter is more #political than it is #legal.

Though #Mwonzora & team were arguing today that the #MDC_A was an #electoral pact which merely now exists as some faction of the #MDC, only a week ago, he had people recalled for joining a party called "#MDC_A".

3] Although #Mwonzora was argues the MDC-A is a 2018 coalition, which ceased to exist post elections, nothing suggest the "individual parties" continued existing as such.

For post 2018 bi-elections,what strategy was used to choose candidates if the parties remained autonomous?

4] If the argument is that Biti & Ncube, were readmitted into the MDC, what then is that #MDC_T?

It remains a fact that WN used the name MDC.
Isnt it then that the #MDC_T joined Prof WN's MDC?

However, politically, these arguments are never important.
Therein lies sloppiness.

5] If the argument is that Tsvangirai actually won the MDC case against Ncube in 2005, where did the T come from?

Why didn't he pursue legal challenges to stop Prof from identifying as MDC?

If he went through that route for the sake of 2008 elections, why is it still there now?

6] Again, the answer lies elsewhere.

In the absence of fights, parties are bound to be sloopy.

This is because there is no law that forces them to do anything really.

They can eaily break their own rules if they so wish.

However, when there are fights,this is sadly exploited.

7] In light of the Ncube & Tsvangirai fights, though Ncube won it legally & MRT won it politically, it did nothing to the political realities of that period.

The Mutambara group unsuccessfully fired MRT, who carried on whilst they equally carried on.

The same has happened now.

8] Using the logic of MDC_A being a faction of the MDC, perhaps just like the MDC-T, does it then follow that Ncubes MDC, & Tsvangirai's MDC-T were factions of the MDC?

Answer is NO.
They were separate parties, born out of factionalism.

The same has again happened now.

9] So really, there is no court that can judge whether or not a party is a party.

That identity comes from the party #membership & the entity's activities.

This #legal battle will only be of interest, not in relation to its usefulness, but how it will be #abused by one faction.

10] The same way #Mwonzora abused the #SCJudgement to extend his expired tenure, a judgement that legalises his excitable recall of the Hwendes of this world might be abused to bully even MPs who originally came from PDP & MDC-Green

Therein lies #Chamisa headache.
Nowhere else.

11] Brother Chamisa needs to accept one reality.

Although the members of his party have accepted the existence of #MDC_A as such, there is need to effectively deal with the sloppiness of the past few months.

The #MDC_A needs to effectively rebrand.
Leave nothing to chance.

12] As i opinionated many months ago, these factions need to accept their separation.

For Mwonzora & camp to expel Hwende for "joining the MDC-A" & still invite its President, Chamisa, to the MDC-T's EOC shows reckless stupidity.

Just go separate ways.
