US Philadelphia too had similar fate, inspite of warnings the city did not cancel the WW1 victory parade.

In spring 1920 a very minor wave occurred in isolated areas including NY, the UK, Austria, Scandinavia. Mortality rates were very low. Thus Spanish Flu disappeared miraculously (?)
