All friends joke around with each other, but sometimes it’s hard to tell if someone is just having fun or trying to hurt you, especially online. Sometimes they’ll laugh it off with a “just kidding,” or “don’t take it so seriously.” #CyberBullying#ProjectCovidNg /2
But if you feel hurt or think others are laughing at you instead of with you, then the joke has gone too far. If it continues even after you’ve asked the person to stop and you are still feeling upset about it, then this could be bullying. #CyberBullying#ProjectCovidNg /3
And when the bullying takes place online, it can result in unwanted attention from a wide range of people including strangers. Wherever it may happen, if you are not happy about it, you should not have to stand for it. #CyberBullying#ProjectCovidNg /4
Call it what you will – if you feel bad and it doesn’t stop, then it’s worth getting help. Stopping #CyberBullying is not just about calling out bullies, it’s also about recognizing that everyone deserves respect – online and in real life.#ProjectCovidNg /5
If you are being bullied, we need you to know that you don’t have to be alone. We know how difficult it can be to speak up, and how much damage it can cause to one's mental health. Reach out to us at MANI if you need someone to talk to. #CyberBullying#ProjectCovidNg /6
#CyberBullying is not a 'normal' thing and it should not be thought of as such. Be mindful of your interactions online and respect everyone. Resource material culled from UNICEF. #ProjectCovidNg/7

Identify that you're actually being gaslit: Before you take any action, be sure of what the situation is. Gaslighting is a continuous thing, not something that happens just when the person has a bad day.
"Read our previous posts on gaslighting"
Step away from the situation to calm down.
When you're being gaslit, it is normal for you to feel a range of strong emotions- anger, frustration, sadness, fear, worry, etc. But it is important that you don't let these emotions guide your reaction to them.
You want to deal with the situation in a rational manner. Step away for a while; do some breathing exercises, take a walk.
We get broke for different reasons. While sometimes it's because the economy is bad and times are hard, other times it's because we're overstretching ourselves beyond our pockets.
If you're constantly trying to compete with people that earn more than you, people that can afford more things than you can afford, then it will really be difficult not to go broke.
Our post regarding what to do with toxic family members had a number of people asking how they'd know if they are in a toxic relationship with their families. We hope this sheds more light on it. 1/1
They criticize everything you do, and usually not in a kind way. You just can't do anything right, according to them. 1/3 #resourcehub#mentallyawareng#toxic
Survivors guilt is a type of self guilt that we sometimes experience after a traumatic event. It is a symptom of PTSD but can be experienced in the absence of a PTSD diagnosis.
The extent and severity can vary from person to person and symptoms can be both psychological (feelings of guilt, nightmares, flashbacks, irritability, helplessness, lack of motivation) and physical (numbness, difficulty sleeping, racing heart, stomach aches) /2
While not everyone feels survivor’s guilt, it is not uncommon after experiencing some type of trauma. And while it can be quite common, this does not mean that it is not serious or that it does not require some sort of intervention or treatment. /3
