"Surely it is not controversial to insist that slaves and their descendants suffer more from slavery than do their masters and their descendants...."
— Glenn C. Loury
- 90 years of Jim Crow
- 60 years of Seperate but Equal
-100+ years of The Lily-white movement in the Republican Party

White Liberal do-Gooders had more impact on blacks than centuries of race-based slavery?

that makes them believe centuries of of (race-based) slavery, 90 years of Jim Crow, 60 years of Seperate but Equal have no rippling racial or economic impact- that the past doesn't impact/inform our present?
He's a black libertatian economist; and I think this is some of his best work: "South Africa's War Against Capitalism" written in 1989 by Prof. Walter Williams.
His views on The Confederacy are an abomination and an anathema to me. I reject those views.

Heres a question to consider...
The two leading black economist for over a decade on the Right are two men who minimize l the impact of slavery on the present.
Is that why they are popular?
It's not their minds they are after, but the racial narrative that their mind and skin color offer. A Twofer -- Two blacks for the price of one? Two black people who say liberals not slavery caused the problem.
Of course you'd flock to that.
Tailor-made for you...
