Back in November 2019, @walters19901693 also supported real news, but was an African living in Spain rather than an American living Texas. It also had only 10 followers rather than the 2000+ it now boasts.

Things get more confusing when one looks at @walters19901693's tweets, several of which appear to be claiming to live somewhere in Africa rather than Spain or Texas. Prior to 2020 this account mostly tweeted about events in Africa, but has since pivoted heavily to #MAGA content.
Although most of @walters19901693's followers look like US #MAGA accounts, the first ten are decidedly more international and not particularly focused on US politics. It began retweeting #MAGA trains in 2020, which is likely where it built its subsequent following.
One more thing: several of the tweets recently tweeted or retweeted by @walters19901693 have far more retweets than likes. This is a potential sign that these tweets were amplified via DM retweet rooms, and indeed some of the participants are familiar.

We've observed that tweets amplified via #MAGA retweet rooms tend to get far more retweets than likes, and this propagandalicious @AFunnyValentine tweet looks like an example. We explored its network in search of other likely room participants. #Lobsterfest

First, here's a visual comparison between a control group of Twitter accounts and a set of accounts that we know were in a #Mighty200+ retweet room fairly recently. The retweet room accounts all have many tweets with more retweets than likes, while the control accounts do not.
Unsurprisingly, @AFunnyValentine fits the pattern, with hundreds of recent tweets/retweets with more retweets than likes. To find additional accounts in @AFunnyValentine's network, we checked the other accounts that retweeted at least 15 of these tweets for the same anomaly.

What's up with all these strangely-named apps that were used to tweet (or retweet) #Trump2020 tweets with images in the wee hours the night of June 13th/14th? #MondayMotivation

Answer: a set of 36 custom apps with similar-looking names (lots of capital letters, stars, Greek letters, and brackets) were used by 136 accounts to retweet a Japanese #Trump2020 tweet posted by @neto_uyoko.
These 136 accounts are all bots, automated via the aforementioned 36 custom apps (used for retweeting) as well as twittbot and BotBird (used for original tweets.) Is this the entire botnet, or can we find more accounts?

We found a total of 1342 accounts that appear to be part of this botnet. Most were created in April or May 2020, although a few are older. None have liked more than 2 tweets, and all theoretically tweet via the old version of the Twitter website ("Twitter Web Client.")
The links in these pornbots' tweets are redirected via the tinyurl(dot)com link shortening service, followed by several other redirectors before arriving at newkitchen(dot)co(dot)kr, a Korean website than unsurprisingly seems more focused on nudity than actual kitchens.
