My attention has been drawn to the existence of more than 30 Facebook accounts in my name and several on Instagram, operated by some unscrupulous members of the society who are using them to defraud unsuspecting members of the public by soliciting for funds.
I do not have or operate any FACEBOOK page or INSTAGRAM account. The only social media account i have and operate is this verified Twitter account.
Please do not accept any "friend request" from these accounts and note

I first met Abba Kyari in 1977 at Warwick University in England. I had gone there to do law as a second first degree. He had come to do a degree in sociology.
I had a pending application to do Law at Cambridge and when the result of that application came and it was positive, I left Warwick during the second semester.
But my five months at Warwick was enough to build a strong friendship with Abba that lasted till his passing.
Almost 43 years!
There was a small group of Nigerians at Warwick then, which included former President Yakubu Gowon (who was doing a PhD in Political Science) ; Senator Osereihmi Osunbor (former Senator and Governor); Sitonye Roy Wakama (former Deputy Inspector General of Police)

Met again with H.E. Mr Zhou Pingjian, Chinese Ambassador to Nigeria and addressed the media on the alleged maltreatment of Nigerians in Guangzhou, #China. There was flight which conveyed a group of Nigerians to Guangzhou in which some Nigerians tested positive for #COVID19.
Amongst the Nigerians, was a lady who owned a restaurant, a Nigerian restaurant frequented predominantly and almost exclusively by Africans mainly Nigerians. The Chinese authorities obviously picked up on this that there was this group of people who had tested positive.
And so, automatically demanded and insisted that they all be quarantined, with nobody allowed to come out in 14 days and if anybody came out from that quarantine that they should not be allowed in if it was a hotel, back into that hotel or that residence.

178 Nigerians have willingly been successfully evacuated from #SouthAfrica. I applaud the Proprietor and Management of Air Peace Airlines for the successful evacuation of the first batch which arrived Murtala Mohammed International Airport, Lagos at 9:23pm on Wednesday 11th Sept.
2019. Also commend the laudable initiative by Chief Allen Onyema, proprietor of Air Peace Airlines. I assure Nigerians that the FG will continue to support and protect lives and properties of Nigerians in diaspora. Let me also appeal to Nigerians in South Africa to remain calm...
