I am one of thousands of #Volunteers who help via Social Media to reunite Found Pets and raise awareness of the #Missing and #Stolen. In the last month 170 Pets have been reported missing or stolen and that is just on one U.K. database #DogLostUK.
As Volunteers working 24/7 we alert groups around the U.K. There are groups for specific areas for Missing and Stolen Pets, there are groups for specific areas for Found Pets. There are also National Groups for Missing, Stolen and Found. There are groups set up by Volunteers
that have expertise, i.e groups that have Ground Search Teams, Groups that have Volunteers who Fly Drones, groups that can humanely trap a dog that has gone into Survival mode. We have Groups that provide posters and Volunteers that help put the posters up when the Pet is
reported missing. We have groups that make Videos of the Missing and Stolen to share around Social Media Facebook, Twitter and Instagram and YouTube.

help that we can give the hundreds of distraught families around the U.K. as we are now unable to send out ground search teams or fly drones to search dense woodlands and cover miles of open fields. We are no longer able to assist in putting up posters, only as part of our
daily exercise and we are no longer able to set up and monitor feeding stations for the many animals who are lost and in Survival Mode.
We need your help to raise awareness of our plight and to ask the Public if they take their Pets out on their daily exercise to keep them

on a lead although difficult for some dogs that are usually allowed to run free, we are not in normal times and for the time it will take for the lockdown to be lifted this is a small change to make, because if they do go missing we cannot help as much
and the consequences could be far worse than keeping them on a lead for a short while. Also there are 20,000 +Pets listed as lost on DogLost U.K. as missing. These Pets don’t just disappear do they. Please can you ask your viewers/readers who now have extra time on their
hands, to look at the groups on Facebook in their area of the Missing, Stolen and Found and to help share the posts and keep their eyes open to hopefully help reunite the Missing and Stolen with their families and reunite the Found animals with their families too. We are all
all dedicated to the Welfare of our Pets and through some traumatic happenings to some of them Petitions have been raised to the Government to change the Laws that affect our Pets. At the moment there are three Petitions :-1. Pet Theft Petition to make Pet Theft a specific

All of these Petitions now require 100,000 signatures to take them to a debate in Parliament, Brexit and the change of Government over the last 2 years meant they were put off numerous times. All three need debating in the hope that they can become Law to further protect our Pets
There is also a Petition I started back in September 2018 as the voice of the General Public to say why they support these Petitions. This Petition will be sent to MPs in support when enough signatures are obtained to get a Debate date. - l.facebook.com/l.php?u=https%…
