Good afternoon, everyone and welcome to this week's edition of #TheAfricanFarmersStories. This is a programme that recognizes and celebrates the unique work of farmers all over #Africa. I am your host, Edobong Akpabio. Let's get to know our guest @lindaekweogu

Linda Ekweogu is an Agribusiness Entrepreneur, the CEO and Co-Founder of Agrolinka, an agricultural mobile trading platform which connects farmers to buyers. She graduated magna cum laude from Imo State University where she studied Statistics.

During her undergraduate days, she worked as COO of Dataville Solutions, with responsibilities to; work collaboratively with peers in the Research & Analytics Unit in organizing & directing the collection, processing & analysis of statistical data.

She also supervised the undergraduate internship scheme in performing statistical routines related to data compilation and presentation of statistical data.

Upon graduation, she worked with an NGO, @SFHNigeria where she worked as a Monitoring & Evaluation Officer. Here, she gained experience on Report Writing, Data Management, Strategic Planning & Analysis, Data Quality Assessment & Knowledge Management.

She also worked with Contec Global Energy, in collaboration with @NESREANigeria to lead a baseline survey on “The Establishment of Efficient & Cost Effective Mechanism to Control Toxic Air Emissions from Power Generating Sets in Nigeria.” #TheAfricanFarmersStories
She was the Lead Coordinator. The survey was conducted in seven states. She recruited and trained enumerators at her location as well as handled the supervision of all other coordinators who reported directly to her.

She is a volunteer Project Director at the Melan Aid Foundation where she oversees projects from planning to execution. She has excellent problem solving skills and ensures that every project she works on are of the highest possible standard.

Her verbal communication skills and positive attitude to work and life makes her an effective communicator with her team members. She co-established @agrolinka in a bid to solve a debilitating problem for smallholder farmers in Nigeria.
