March 2011, I'd lost everything & was living in my car. I pulled into a library parking lot, cried out to God. I asked Him to rescue me or kill me. I heard, "Read the #Psalms." I'd read them before. Yes, all 150. Several times, but I didn't argue about those instructions.
Even though I'd read through the whole #Bible several times before, I didn't argue because I knew my answer had to be in there if that's where He sent me. I read through The Psalms like a maniac and in 7 days, 7 days, I had a whole new outlook on life and my current situation.
I realized during that time God sent me to Himself. To #Jesus, The Word Made Flesh, not to my #church, someone at my church or any person. My #deliverance could only come from Him because what I really needed was deeper than just #money for housing.

He delivered me alright.
And that's why I can rejoice in every circumstance, trust Him and expect good things all the days of my life. If He's rescued me once, He can and will do it again and again and again.

Thank You, Jesus. Thank You, Jesus. Thank You, Jesus.

If you're struggling, bound by fear
or just don't know where to turn, read The Psalms. Everything we face in life is addressed in one or more of those 150 chapters. Your rescue is there. You just have to search for it. When you find it, be sure to go back and give thanks to Jesus for making a way out of no way.
If you or anyone you know feels desperate right now, The O Lord, Hear My Cry #Devotional as a companion to reading The Psalms will turn things around in 7 days or less for anyone diligently seeking rescue and deliverance from Jesus. Witness.
