Wealth Creation and Redistribution are the most surveyed topics in both Development & Growth Economics.
However, what is usually missing in the literature is the intermediary phase, which is #wealth portfolio mgmt. Using a #SWF Sovereign Wealth Fund Transmission Mechanism.
Three of the best SWFs which I have seen operate in the market are the ones owned by the Govts of the UAE, Norway and Singapore.
They are facilitating wealth creation, transmission, store of value, allocation and re-allocation, portfolio re-balancing, risk-reward optimization,Etc
Sovereign Wealth Fund has primarily the following objectives
1. Intergenerational incomes transfer
2. Building an Economic Buffer to surmount systemic risk shocks
3. Amassing FX reserves
4. Diversifying FCAs to reduce risks
5. Accumulating Wealth via strategic investing

The mind/mana is denoted by the Moon. The inherent nature of the Mind is to desire and needs an anchor for guidance for fulfillment. The planets that give Gati or direction to the mana are the ones in 2/12 and/or/ planet(s) conjoining and/or Kendras to it (Moon). #JyotishKatti Image
The absence of ALL the above can denote a mind that has no fixed desire. Is this good? For spirituality, this can be a plus. However, for mundane matters, this can be a -ve. This is called Kemadruma Yoga. Is there any remedy for this?
Before I get to the remedy we need to take a deep dive. What is this all about? It is for a very important reason, that the maharishis have given importance to Chandra Lagna. The chart viewed from Moon as Lagna shows our emotional makeup. The quality of various responses.

It's weekend and it's the end of the month. The #markets are closed.

So there is the perfect time to analyze the #momentum & relative #strength of the markets.

This information is relevant for all #investors, but especially for #trend #followers 📈📈📈

The #momentum of the markets are one of the most powerful forces in the evolution of the #asset #prices.

The #reversion to the mean is the opposite force, which is equally powerful. Momentum works on a short and medium term (up to 3 to 5 years).
There is a ton of academic research related to the momentum and the benefits of using it and relative strength. But presenting it this is not the purpose of this #thread.

Relative strength is actually a comparison between the #momentum of two or more #markets.

Thread: friends, for 4 yrs I've been preaching the gospel of #decolonization, #wealth redistribution & healing in the space of #philanthropy & beyond. Has it been effective? Yeah - we (@DecolonizWealth) redistributed and influenced > $500M to BIPOC communities last yr.
@DecolonizWealth Now, I'm seeing our work begin to influence the distribution of resources/money globally - in the humanitarian aid space. This is exciting, but also a HEAVY lift. The colonial dynamics at play in this space are deep and pervasive.
While I celebrated the movement, the progress - due in large part to social movements and the pandemic, which have resulted in (often one-time) increased investment in our communities - I've seen and experienced a lot in #philanthropy recently that deeply concerns me.

On the #bitcoin standard: Pt 1

- 21 million bitcoins.
There's no economic relevance of the number "21 million".

This is because money supply is an irrelevant metric as long as the monetary medium is infinitely divisible. What really counts is its purchasing power.
If your economics textbook says otherwise, you should burn it at the stake or give "mai suya".

- When Keynesian economists ask how the world would have gotten past the great depression, they fail to accept the fact that not all years are gonna look alike and charts are not ...
going to be green on all days. There willl be "market corrections" and new "suppprt lines" but such retracement is only a charge for a new all time high.

The Austrian school explains that the lower price levels was because of the economic boom but with a fixed supply of money.

I read an interesting post and felt it’s #TooGoodNotToShare

A few years ago there was a conference in the United States on investment and finance. During the question and answer session, one of the speakers was asked a question that had everyone laughing.
If he, the richest man in the world, could accept that his daughter marry a poor or modest man?

He said & his answer can change something in everyone-
“First of all, understand that Wealth does not mean having a fat bank account. Wealth is primarily the ability to create wealth.
Example: Someone who wins the lottery or in gambling.

Even if he wins 100 millions is not a rich man.

He is a poor man with a lot of money. That's the reason why 90% of the lottery millionaires become poor again after 5 years.

You also have rich people who have no money.

Anyone perusing the top articles of major media outlets last weekend would have read several pieces on the extraordinary #shortages being witnessed in the U.S. #economy today, and particularly those in the #labor market.
The tone of many articles was pessimistic, suggesting that the #supply-side #shortages and dislocations may be systemic, or long-term, but we think there’s evidence that the U.S. #economy will display considerably greater dynamism and resilience than the pessimists believe.
First, it’s vital to recognize that this is a #supply constraint problem, not one of #demand. Indeed, strong demand is being driven by a host of powerful influences: 1) household balance sheets never been cleaner and HH #wealth is $25 trillion greater now than pre-Covid level.

Inflation data for July moderated somewhat, at least relative to the heady pace of recent months, which should temper #market and policymaker concerns a bit, despite the fact that #inflation will stay sticky-higher for a while and the #risk remains to the high-side.
Core #CPI (excluding volatile food and #energy components) came in at 0.3% month-over-month and 4.3% year-over-year, a bit less than the consensus forecast, and headline CPI data printed at a solid 0.5% month-over-month and came in at 5.4% year-over-year.
While we think that it’s hard to see a case for the recent levels of elevated #inflation turning into “1970s style” runaway price increases, higher #wages and elevated growth for an extended period will allow companies to achieve higher levels of #PricingPower for a time.
