This is not true. They did search reporters' desks earlier on.
Several media being barred from getting closer to interview Li Kwai-wah, including RTHK,Stand News and Inmedia. Police said they would only allow press organizations that are local, "bigger-scaled" and didn't cause disturbance and threat to police in previous operations to go in.
Apple Daily Cheif Editor has told the reporters that the warrant does not include any news material and police has no right to view or take away any news materials.
After RTHK raised concern on their facebook page, they are allowed to get in, but more media are still barred from entering.
"I think somewhere in third-world countries there has been such kind of press freedom suppression, just didn't expect it to be in Hong Kong," said Chris Yeung, chair of the Hong Kong Journalists Association.
Police also searched Jimmy Lai’s son Lai Yiu-yan’s restaurant Cafe Season and took away a basket of evidence, including computers. #NationalSecurityLaw

Shares of media company Next Digital (0282.HK), which publishes Apple Daily, continues to surge as financial commentators calling people to buy the stock to show supports for Apple Daily because "it’s the last main-stream media fighting against the CCP".
Blogger Ka Ming also calling people to buy out all the newspaper to show support. He wrote "even if Apple Daily publish a pile of blank paper tomorrow, we would go and buy a copy of it until it's sold out. No man is an island. For whom the bell tolls, it tolls for thee.”
According to activist @chowtingagnes’s Facebook Page, police have entered her home. It's unclear if arrests will be made. The lawyers are rushing there.

In an interview HK01, Chris Tang said they will have a new arrangement for media, only “credible” media will be allowed to report inside the cordon line, the rest need to say outside, and the decision will be made by PPRB based on past performances. The time and detail is tbc.
Police said 9 men,1 female are arrested under #NSL. 2 males 1 female is related to an organization that ask foreign countries to sanction Hong Kong and executives of a media company are arrested for backing this organization financially by using a foreign bank account.

@chowtingagnes was arrested on the charge of "inciting secession" under the #NationalSecurityLaw.
@chowtingagnes was brought on a private vehicle out of her home. Some residents shouted "Shameful!" as the vehicle drove away.
