#Uttarakhand| 5-months pregnant woman died shuttling to & fro between 2 hospitals in Almora. She was being treated for typhoid at the district hospital & was sent to a #Covid facility, after she had breathing difficulties. Tested negative for #COVID, wasn't admitted to the ICU.
#Uttarakhand| The 24-year old woman tested negative for #COVID so the facility refused to admit her to the ICU. By the time she was taken to the district hospital again, her condition deteriorated. She died upon reaching the district hospital.
"She died because of the district hospital's negligence. The oxygen cylinder ran out and we begged for another one but they refused. She would have been fine otherwise," victim's family member.
