Tesla is growing in a world of Big Tech monopoly. Most ppl won't realize until number of major car makers shrinks to single digit & @Tesla dominates them all. This'll play out in front of our eyes, but many will still be surprised. Read full thread.

From days of Microsoft dominating PC OS & office productivity apps to today's dominance of Google (search), Facebook (social media), Twitter (microblogging), iOS & Android (smartphones), Big Tech is a world of "winner takes all" for many reasons, most to do with software!
Ostensibly, software makes it easier for new players to enter market & for users to adopt new products & services. But software also multiplies first mover, fast mover, right mover advantage manifold, making it virtually impossible for also-rans to offer meaningful competition.
Apple with iOS and iPhone is one of few companies to try Big Tech monopoly in the world of hardware (smartphones) & it may have won, except for a historic twist of destiny that brought Android into the world around the same time. If not, ALL of us would be using only iPhones now!
Imagine the world with only one smartphone platform viz iPhone. HUGE impact not just on users, but also on Apple as a company, the shareholders, the entire smartphone ecosystem, the world itself. Apple's worth would be multiplied many times what it is today.
Back to Tesla: What Apple couldn't do to phones, Tesla will do to cars! With dozens of car companies now, we cannot imagine world with a single car company dominating market. But if competition doesn't shape up quickly (too late already!) Tesla will run Big Tech monopoly on cars!
Tesla already shows #1 sign of monopoly: users don't consider alternatives. Last time you considered alternative to Google/FB/Twitter? @Tesla is #1 choice for most new car buyers (not just EVs). Soon buyers won't consider alternative car brands at all!
@TeslaDaily @HyperChangeTV
Tesla is fast implementing #2 sign of Big Tech monopoly: multiple hooks (UI, killer features not offered by competition, apps, after-sale lifetime updates and upgrades) that keep the users in their ecosystem. @Tesla is not just a car. It's a full-fledged tech platform.
With #BatteryDay & #FSD release, @Tesla will reveal #3 sign of Big Tech monopoly: certain tech advancements so HUGE (eg: Google's AI-powered search), the competition can never hope to catch up and will simply give up. Google gave up on social media. Nokia on smartphone platform.
#4 sign of Tech monopoly: long tail revenue source making money without extra effort. Eg: Apple's App Store. Future @Tesla revenue streams will EXPLODE: purchase-able OTA upgrades, insurance, ridesharing service, app store, energy arbitration, stuff we can't even imagine now!
#5 sign of Tech monopoly: use primary hegemony to succeed in second major business. Eg: AWS of Amazon. @Tesla energy might grow bigger than car business. City-wide network of solar installs harnessed through central software = powerplant. Repeat in EVERY city around the world!
There are many more signs of Big Tech monopoly that @Tesla displays. But let's skip to last one: fundamentally change the world. Tesla has already set in motion at least 10 things which will change world in ways we can't even imagine today. It will happen faster than we expect!

@sankrant ji - If this study happens, please include caste also. In India all kinds of issues are viewed & analyzed through the lens of caste & religion by everyone. So, why not rape & other violent crimes as well? Does our country & our society have the collective guts to do so?
Today, we don't have a proper statistical analysis or report of rapes by caste / religion. But trends can be observed based on a search of media reports, though media under-reports crimes one community. If media was fair & balanced, trends would be even more strong & stark.
1. It seems to be common knowledge in India that if a media report does not mention the name of the rapist, we can guess which religion he belongs to with a very high probability of being right.

They will say @realDonaldTrump should not nominate #SCOTUS judge so close to elections. Bogus argument! Important to have full bench now more than ever, considering Dems will take election results to court in November! Last thing US needs is THAT case decided by a partial bench!
#RuthBaderGinsberg has been battling cancer for a long time now. Was pretty much indisposed from doing regular work. ONLY reason she did not resign: to not give @realDonaldTrump a #SCOTUS nomination. If there was a Dem @POTUS, she would've resigned way back.
NPR: Just days before her death, as her strength waned, Ginsburg dictated this statement to her granddaughter Clara Spera: "My most fervent wish is that I will not be replaced until a new president is installed."

Sink in: SCOTUS Judge partisan till death!

Whaaat? @RajivMessage You're criticizing a viral tweet for not displaying experience & wisdom of a PhD thesis or peer-reviewed paper! Completely misplaced. Narrative war needs everything: viral tweets to open forum drama to informal talks / articles to academic theses / debates.
All of these are different weapons to be deployed in the modern narrative war. Opposition knows this very well. Hence we NEVER hear of a top leftist intellectual criticize a street rioter/looter. Instead, they provide intellectual cover and bigger pic context to rioter's actions.
Why do most Dharmic gurus, leaders, intellectuals lack this practical wisdom of a war-time general? Instead, they seem to be ever ready to critique our foot soldiers, that too in public. Not cool nor productive. Perhaps why we have not won many intellectual battles recently!

Points to note:

1. This event seems to have happened in Bharat, with a predominantly Indian audience, most probably of Hindu birth.

2. Mentally-enslaved crowd gives the Hindu-hating, distortian Audrey Truschke VIP treatment, while booing the guy who asks legitimate questions.
3. The guy questioning her has a Bachelor of Medicine and a PhD from Cambridge University, has written many papers and articles, both in science and humanities. Just mentioning it here lest people think he was just a noise-maker.
4. Audrey Truschke has said enough hateful things about Hindu gods, concepts, Hindutva and even the current government that her Indian visa could be canceled by GoI for inciting hate. Yet, she travels to India every year and gets this VIP treatment.

People have wondered about & criticized @BernieSanders for frequent attacks on @elonmusk for being a billionaire, while being mum about @JeffBezos who is a whole lot richer than Elon. Simple answer: Establishment Vs Anti-Establishment. Elon does not belong to the Establishment.
Don't be fooled by visible factors: this is not merely about socialist politician criticizing successful capitalist. Not even about Bezos probably contributing to Bernie campaign. There's a bigger factor: deep down, Bernie & Bezos belong to the same complex #DeepState structure.
Elon not belonging to Establishment is also reason (regardless of externalities) for occasional Bill Gates Vs Elon, Warren Buffet Vs Elon, even SEC Vs Elon tiffs. I speculate this might also be why @Tesla didn't easily get into #SP500, despite technically fulfilling all criteria.

@SureshChavhanke speaks to @SreeIyer1 about his recent program about 140% increase of Ms in the Indian Civil Services being stopped by the Delhi High Court although the Indian Supreme Court allowed it.

All ppl, especially RWers, criticizing @TIinExile & defending #FreedomOfExpression to demean our gods - why are you not raising hell about licensed media person @SureshChavhanke's program broadcast & #FOE stopped by Delhi High Court?

CC: @rvaidya2000

The promo by @SureshChavhanke that started it:

Rough Translation: Blowing the covers off the M take-over of the highest positions of Civil Services / Bureaucracy, the most important pillar of Democracy.
