(1/2) Syrian ambassador to Armenia has condemned all attacks against Armenian lands stating ‘’Syria has always supported a peaceful settlement enshrined in UN resolutions, as well as in the OSCE Minsk Group principles."
(2/2) "Today the Azerbaijani troops are encroaching on the line of contact, the Armenian army carries out self-defense and it should be emphasized that Turkish F-16 fighter jets and artillery also support the Azerbaijani army"
We have created this diagram to help people understand the numbers on each side. This and other information can be found on our sites reference page for the conflict.
After an emergency meeting of the Security Council of Armenia, the head of National Security Argishti Kyaramyan left for Karabakh. The meeting was to discuss further actions for troops on the front. Kyaramyan came for approval for a specific task.
On September 29th an Armenian Air force SU-25 fighter was shot down in Armenia. According to @naghdalyan "It was carrying out combat tasks to repel the attacks of Azerbaijan on military and civilian objects." Photos below are from the crash site.
@naghdalyan@tiktok_us Aeroflot flight 1867 has left Zvarnots (Yerevan). This callsign comes and goes very rarely. Flights are not running right now so this is probably a foreign leader. Charters right now are all through Red Wings.
Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Khatibzadeh: "Tehran will not allow terrorist groups to turn its northern borders into areas that threaten Iran's security."

Initial low resolution satellite imagery from Nevatim Airbase this morning appears to show some damage around 31°12'15.7"N 35°02'19.7"E, which aligns with reports of a building being damaged. Not seeing anything else obvious, currently. Couple of annoying cloud shadows.
Another potential impact on the runway, and just south of it. Can't make up my mind on the one south of it, could be the change in light which can be observed on the larger structures.
Higher resolution required for this.
for those who want to gander themselves, here;
I am not seeing anything overly obvious would contradict the reports of it being hit and sustaining small damage, there are a few markers per se, but it's minimal, if that.browser.dataspace.copernicus.eu/?zoom=14&lat=3…
After following the rhetorics and post event details of these drones for years in the Middle East seeing them now “in the wild” is truly something. The illusive Shahed’s doing their thing, in the public eye.
Sat. Imagery courtesy of @planet from earlier today shows several vehicles on the runway at #Aleppo Intl. Airport, #Syria most likely conducting a repair (square cutover already) after the reported #Israel|i airstrike hours after #IRGC affiliated Yas Air Cargo EP-GOX landed.
To the south of the runway you can see the damage caused to the DVOR/DME Navaid which also appears to be targeted.
Heavy scaring can be seen in both areas due to fires. Notably, personally, I’ve only twice seen a runway targeting have some heavy prominent scaring.
In September 2020 an airstrike at T4 left heavy burn marks after something was reportedly struck on the apron. And the included tweet in 2021.
