We're currently going of the policy context and historical evolution of regulation around the highly politicised and controversial issue of #GMO from #InDivEU's @Maria_Weimer

#Differentiation only really emerged in #GMO regulation in 2015 in an atypical example of what @Maria_Weimer terms: "legislative differentiated disintegration"

Sabine Saurugger begins her contribution by asking the question: "what can we learn from #Differentiation in the past and how can we apply these learnings to the #FutureofEurope

With #CoFoE surely on the way in the near future, this is a vital question

Ceta Noland from @DutchMFA has begun a presentation on two reports on #DifferentiatedIntegration done by independent advisory bodies

Great news that the work of projects like #InDivEU and @dice_h2020 to promote legislative consideration of this topic is seeing results!

This is the great thing about conferences like this one - they bring together researchers, practitioners, and all other kinds of experts to foster debate and discussion
