Lidiya is a 21 years old prominent activist & organizer who has been passionately involved with her Eritrean community from a very young age.
Ever since she witnessed the daunting & overwhelming plight of Eritrean refugees in Libya, Lidiya got determined not to sit back & watch.
Instead, she picked up the slack left by the organizations which simply abandoned these refugees, and found a way to provide financial and moral support to these refugees and make meaningful contributions to help ease their suffering.
Lidya organizes a group of Eritreans in the diaspora to raise money, creates contact with community leaders among #Eritrean refugees in Libya & ensures the money raised reaches the community leaders & individual refugees directly.
In addition to her individual efforts, Lidya is also a member of @onedayseyoum where she actively contributes to the mission of the organization to help #Eritrean refugees all over the world.
Lidya @KitchaFitFit1 is committed to continuing her fight for #Eritrean refugees; she understands the diverse nature of #Eritrean refugees & to address the challenges, she is recruiting volunteers who speak different #Eritrea|n languages - Tigrigna, Tigre, Arabic, etc.
She also campaigns to put pressure on the #EuropeanUnion to stop funding #Libyan coastguards who capture refugees at sea and bring them back to detention centers in #Libya.
Lidya understands the root cause that is forcing #Eritreans to flee their homeland and become refugees - the regime currently holding power in #Eritrea!
As such, she is politically active, contributes to #Yiakl social media campaign, participates in various campaigns to expose the atrocities committed by the regime in #Eritrea, and is determined to help end the grip of the #PFDJ regime in #Eritrea. #18StolenYears#19StolenYears

Please join us in thanking Lidiya @KitchaFitFit1 for the extraordinary work that she does to support #Eritrean refugees.
