I consulted forensic experts. Bluish discoloration of a body means reduced hemoglobin which indicates either poisoning or asphyxial death leading to cyanosis. But everything looked normal to the people of truth and ahimsa back then. 2/n

Shastriji died when he was a guest of Russians, so they were obliged to keep a proper record of his death. KGB did an inquiry. But our Govt till date has not sought the Russian dossier, nor released their own detailed reports. 4/n
One of the fears in New Delhi is that to release Shastri files would somehow lead to the Subhas Chandra Bose case, which is a far bigger worry for them because of its implication today. 5/n
