No Blue Line Feb-May 2021 (Arl cem closed & trains don't stop at Addison Rd); north end of Green Line closed summer 2021; Orange Line closed east of Stadium-Armory Summer 2022 (with work at Cheverly, Landover, New Car)
WMATA also plans to close Rockville & Shady Grove in fall 2021; Single-track on Red Line Dupont-Van Ness in summer 2021; weekend closures in a number of places including Grosvenor-Strathmore on Red Line & BL/OR/SV through Stadium-Armory area in late 2021 early 2022

The potential coronavirus link is that with so many fewer riders, Airports Authority now sees shutting down Wiehle-Reston East for a few weeks as something feasible to re-jumpstart things. That would take Metro availability to shift things around though wtop.com/tracking-metro…
NEW: #WMATA is shutting down bus service at 5pm on a number of routes. Unclear how people out now are supposed to get back.
It is part of larger additional bus service cuts. Metro now cutting back to 20 bus routes, although those 20 routes have not been officially posted yet
Here are the ONLY Metrobus routes that will keep running after 5pm today or any time on Sunday: 32, 33, 36, 52, 70, 90, 16A, 16E, 28A, A6, A8, C4, D12, F4, K6, P12, Q2, S4, U8, V4, X2, Y2 and Z8 #wmata#dctraffic
